This viewpoint is spectacular! There are different ways to get there and the hike can be a short out and back or part of a longer circular hike including the Black Rock Viewpoint which is also stunning. For the shortest walk use Google maps to drive all the way along a bumpy dirt track until you reach a large stone with Pa HinDum written on it, park here then follow signs to Dragon Camping, walk through the camp and out onto the bluff. Grip footwear is essential. There is no shade on the bluff. A high degree of agility and fitness is required to climb all the way down. If you set off from Nai Harn beach the climb along the coast path will also require grip shoes, agility and fitness. Bring water and bug spray. If you go here for sunset, leave before it gets dark. Use All Trails App to find...

I made it! A hidden gem of Phuket. Stunning view of the sunset, but you can’t quite stay until the sun goes down as it make hiking back a lot more difficult. Need to starts at the Baan Krating Resort around 16:00-16:30 to catch the sunset. I paid 300 baht for car parking as credit for resort’s cafe food and drinks.

The hike itself is about moderate, need hands on some parts and adrenaline rush when you look down and see the rocks below. It took me around 45mins but might be less if you’re more experience in hiking. The route was a bit hidden & rudimental which confused me on a couple spots. I waited for others to come pass and follow them.

Don’t forget to bring water. Sandals are bad...

Loved this place. I’m Norwegian so we love working alittle before enjoying the treasure at the end 😅 in cape Krathing you have two choices though. You can and in my opinion, should walk along the beach and walk up the path leading up to the top. It’s a fantastic scenic hike and pretty easy to walk. I just used slippers, but recommend shoes. It gets alittle steep in the end, but they put up a rope to make the climb easier. Can also be used to descend safer. Make sure you start atleast an hour before sunset. And don’t stay too long if you want to return same way down, because it...
