I'm actually interested in SE Asian history and this museum has potential if it were bigger but charging 100thb to foreigners for such a small place that can be seen in 15 minutes is a joke. It's not fair charging foreigners 500% more for a place that is nothing special. It shld be 40thb tops which wld still be double the price Thais pay. Contrary to past reviews though there's actually a lot of English descriptions in the place and some decent sculptures that are 1,000 years old plus. It's just so small there's no point coming here unless you're actually interested in this stuff. Being closed Mon and Tues also doesn't make it easier to visit if you are just passing they KK. Plenty of art, photography, storyboards (static and interactive) and sculptures. This is irrational for foreigners working in Thailand, who pay taxes as well, to pay 5 times more of entrance fee than the locals. I wonder if the logic behind Thai museum system is just about barricading foreigners to use their facilities? Then we do hope that they could use domestic taxes and local admission to maintain those places....
