I went to visit the upside-down House just yesterday and went to the 9D theatre, the rage room, and the famous upside-down house. Though I have previously been there before around eight years ago I can definitely say that a lot has changed and not for the best. For starters everything was expensive then the front desk lady made us wait a long time as she talked to the people in front of us about their life, when we finally did get to talk to her she was passive aggressive and when we asked her what the rage room was and she replied with something along the lines of "what do you think rage room is, just try thinking about it and use your brain for a bit". Since 2014 almost nothing in the upside-down house has changed, from the furniture to the props I personally don't think anything was bought within the past six years at least, not to mention the guy that kept trying to aggressively give us advice on picture taking within said house. The 9D theatre was also disappointing with the graphics being poor and the colours were very saturated and the chairs' movements were not in sync with the VR goggles (that might I add didn't fit at all). You could also not look around in the VR and couldn't use the controllers that were attached to the chairs, also the fact that there were so many different rides and adventures to choose from and you arent allowed to choose the one you want (not to mention that the chairs gave us little electric shocks every now and again) The rage room was also depressing, advertised a large room where you could pick a tool to break TVs, bottles, tyres, etc... however, instead, it was a small outdoor room where you were given a small crowbar with around eight bottles in place for you to break with the said crowbar (not to mention the poor safe gear they provide you that was...
Read moreI recently visited the Upside Down House in Phuket, and it was an absolutely fascinating experience! This quirky attraction, where everything is flipped 180 degrees, is a mind-bending adventure that’s perfect for families, friends, or anyone looking for something unique. Walking through rooms where furniture is mounted on the ceiling and chandeliers sprout from the floor was both disorienting and incredibly fun. The creative design and attention to detail made every corner Instagram-worthy, and I couldn’t stop marveling at how cleverly it was all put together.
What truly elevated the experience was the staff—they were amazing! From the moment we arrived, they were warm, welcoming, and full of energy. They guided us through the house with enthusiasm, offering tips on how to pose for the best photos and sharing fun facts about the attraction. Their patience and genuine excitement made the visit even more enjoyable, especially for first-timers like me who were a bit unsure about navigating the topsy-turvy world. They went above and beyond to ensure everyone was having a great time, and their friendly vibes were infectious.
Overall, the Upside Down House in Phuket is a must-visit for a dose of whimsical fun, and the incredible staff make it an unforgettable experience....
Read moreWe decided to head here for some fun with the kids, and overall it was quite a good 1.5hrs. The cost to get in was quite high at 3800b for 2 adults and 2 kids (not including smash room) this included everything else. We started in the escape room where we had 30mins to escape and there were 2 different rooms. They were air-conditioned however still a little warm. You leave your bags in a small locker outside the room. It was fun and a good challenge, they will give you a hint after a time if you want/need one. We were able to escape in the time. We visited the drunk house which was a dizzy experience quite small and quick but fun. We went on to the 2x VR rooms, one is a game and one a roller coster about 10mins each. We went into the upside down house which was lots of fun, the staff were very helpful showing us how to take great photos and getting the kids to do poses. We finished off in the maze, they offered mosquito spray and there were lots of mossies around in the maze, it was quick and fun. There are toilets and we were given free water when we finished. The staff were all friendly and helpful, overall fun however a...
