Grind cafe
Unique open space with artistic vibe.
It’s the third time I’ve visited the place. This time went there to test the place as a working space.
The menu is wide, and most of the dishes seems to be priced fairly.
🍝 Pasta pesto with chicken (instead of salmon) (200 THB) - taste ok, nothing special really. Portion is medium size, but probably won’t be enough if you’re hungry. Not a lot of chicken either. 200 baht it is a good deal for the salmon version, but for the chicken one feels a bit pricy for the portion.
💧Bottle of water (20 THB)
Service - staff speaks well English, good level of service.
Wifi & plugs - wifi is good, there are plugs here and there not next to every table.
Parking - plenty of parking near the place for car & bike.
Atmosphere - great ambiance & vibe. Very artistic and uniquely designed. It’s an open space surrounded by trees so on hot days it can get really humid, there are fans around tho.
Overall it’s a great place to spend some time with friends, slow down and have a chill lunch or early dinner. Not ideal for working as it can get very noisy and the music is a bit too load if you need to have...
Read moreWhat a great ambiance this is! You really don't expect this when you look at the building from the road.
Quality of the beverages (beer and cocktails) is absolutely okay.
Then the service...... In my opinion, when you have a restaurant/bar with opening hour is till 10pm, it is absolutely not okay that the staff already said at 9.20 pm, when we ordered a cocktail and beer, that they will close.
That's not all.... At 9.30 they came to collect the money!!
Honestly, that is really NOT DONE, and I really don't appreciate that. I used to own a restaurant: every customer who arrived even 1 minute before official closing time, we prepared food and drinks. No exception.
Conclusions: this is really a nice place, but the way they treat customers as described is unacceptable. (We were there from 5pm!)
I will go back to try their food and see if the service is changed. Everyone deserves a...
Read moreThis was my 2nd time here, first time during COVID was a great service but not this time .The restaurant is big , nice decorations but at the front & Tuk tuk are not clean enough. Not many food options, Thai food is a bit pricey compare to other cafe , might be good for tourist .The worst part is the service, the young guy who serviced us barely smile, no service mind , not sure why even tho just only our table at that time. We asked him to take a picture for us , he just nod his head , eyes seem annoyed with us , when we finished eating, me n my sister felt the same energy from him. food pricey is not a problem but if the service is suck ..we...
