Just 3 years ago, when we first time visited it was a special beautiful bay and vibe, with a palm forest behind. Then they cut 90% of the trees and made this too expensive and unwelcoming/half empty resort. At the street the wrongly make the feeling of "private only", even by law a beach must be accessible by public. So there is just little space at the shore (high water very less space), no cleaning of the plastic from the shore and this unfriednly deforested restort behin killed the beauty of this place.
Now other beaches are a better choise. Whoever confirmed this destruction and sell should be confronted with this bad result. The resort is remote, unfriendly, very expensive and seems always...
Read moreI imagine this place was once nice? We took a kayak from the river in hops of avoiding the crowds. A couple boats were there with people obsessed with taking pictures on the one slanted palm tree… the resort is still under construction or abandoned on one side, I’m not sure. Lots of plastic on the shoreline.
To the north there a board stand with SUPs, kayaks and more. I asked about renting a board for an hour and they wouldn’t allow it. Said the boards were for the guests but there were no guests… pretty lame. The beaches to the south were much more beautiful...
Read moreThe beach access is completely free, despite others comments I read about this beach. I'm used to go there for 5 years. What has changed is the construction of a resort (Seacret beach resort) with some ugly bungalows, in 2020. But the beach is still public and they don't charge anything. Then, it is possible to continue to walk heading to Senova Kiri. They bought this area, a few years ago. The beach access is still free, however the facilities of the hotel is reserved for their customers. If you want to seat, then you have to pay. Enjoy this...
