Noppharat Thara Beach, a quieter haven compared to the hustle and bustle of Aonang
Though the pin placed by perhaps the local authorities may seem misleading, it does indicate the closest location to the big signage for the beach head which you see in many photos by others.
Parking There are very few lots located in the closest parking area to the pier and the beach due to the high visitorship and traffic to the area, especially with outgoing island tours and such. You are best parked slightly north wards, along route 4203, of the beach opposite the large coach parking area.
Toilets There are no public toilets along the main stretch of beach but surprisingly you can find some decent ones at the giant coach park area i spoke about above. By decent I mean with standard facilities and shower facilities. Don't expect clean public mall standards! You make do!
Best times to visit Check the tide tables for the period you are visiting, try to come just before the lowest tide or as the tides are mid way down. Ie. Low tide is best! It allows you to walk out towards the shallow sand bars and the near by island.
Importantly the low tides reveal the flats which uncover all the beach crabs (in large swatches!) and other tiny marine life. Ie snails, etc. This has always been the highlight of my visits w the kids!
Other notes -Note there aren't many or actually almost no shelters can be found along the beach front. So do bring some mats, brollies for the light showers if you want to chill. sub block and of course insect repellant for the occasional sand fly or mosquitoes if...

The beach is not much bigger than our Inani or Sugandha beach in Bangladesh but it looks lovely. I visited there under package tour so we have to leave within forty minutes but if you want to stay more, you have to hire a boat which might be a costly but if you have a group, the cost will be divided. Sunbathing is common here. Overall, I...
