ATTENTION!!!! Thief’s are here… With very interesting type of scam, it was on the private trip to Hong Island, we paid 600 baht of entry fee from our wallet. Then boat driver took us to many islands and attractions, in some cases our belongings was obviously with him… Because you can’t swim and snorkel with your wallet 😅. When we paid for entry in wallet left 3500 baht, also there was a receipt on 3500 baht from currency exchange because just before trip we exchanged some money. On the last point of the trip we found that in our wallet missing 1k baht, we watch our stuff very well and never put wallet on open space. When driver bring us to start point we told him that we know that he stole the money and we will call the cops or at least we wanna see manager. And you know what? Driver started to nervous and at the same time he told us that probably money fell somewhere in the boat 🌝 and you know what? Yeah money was under some wooden thing and folded in strange way… And it was obvious that they could not get there by accident. Also driver told us that most likely the wind blew money there 🌝
If we speak about the trip itself, it was not bad, maybe… Because of this situation it is hard to say, we have been in many places, in some cases it was a little bit fast but overall not bad ✌️
p.s. maybe boats need to be...

Read moreAttention SCAM: Company is selling overpriced private transports which are not private at all.
We wanted to take the ferry from Ao Nang to Koh Lanta. Due to low season there were no ferrys to Koh Lanta by this Time (November). The woman from the Ticket Shop of Ao Nangs Pier sold us as an alternative private transport by van to Koh Lanta with hotel drop for 600 Baht per person.
In the end we got a completely packed and shared van (luggage everywhere - see photo) with a lot of waiting time at the pier, and the company’s HQ in Krabi (around 1h). Also we paid almost tripple the price compared what other travelers were charged, with the difference that they probably got told the truth about this transportation. For a cheap and transparent deal (200-300 Baht) it would be acceptable. In our case it was just scam…
The ride itself, starting from the company’s HQ was around 2,5h.
Watch out, ask about the type of transportation...
