The ride from Pai Centre to Tha Pai Hot Springs is an adventure in itself, especially if you rent a scooter or bike. The entry fee for foreigners is 300 baht, which gets you access to changing rooms, showers, toilets, and a small shop (trust me, grabbing an ice cream after the soak is a must!).

The springs are set up in tiers, with each pool slightly warmer than the one below it. The temperature increases by about 1°C per level, topping out at 37°C. We went around 3 PM on a Thursday, and there was plenty of space to relax. My favorite was the 36°C pool—it was just the right temperature, and there was a cooler pool right next to it, so you could switch between them easily.

After soaking, you can walk up to see the hot spring source, where the water reaches a crazy 80°C. The only downside? The whole place smells like boiled eggs thanks to the sulfur. But honestly, after a while, you kind of stop noticing. Overall, it’s a super chill spot and definitely...

Visited in the morning around opening, it was very quiet which was nice.

There is a strong sulfur smell which can be expected from natural hot springs.

You can walk around to the 'origin' where the springs are about 80° (you cannot go in here!), from there you can follow the water down to the accessible springs around 36° getting cooler the further you go down.

There are also some others baths that seem to be for soaking feet, these are really hot so make sure to dip your toes before going in!

The toilets are quite dirty and the showers are weak so its hard to wash off properly. No lockers (that we've seen) so we took our things anytime we relocated.

Rather small, we spent about 1h there which was enough.

Locals pay 40 baht while tourists are...

Tried to go twice in a row. Yesterday, walking 20 minutes from our resort to the hot spring. Reaching there a not-so-nice lady says in a not-so-nice way "closed". We ask about tomorrow and she says "uncertain". Depends if it rains. If it rains they don't open. This morning we decide to call to make sure they open, as the forecast is giving a sunny day. Says "open" on Googlemap ... well, they never picked up the phone. Our hotel receptionist mentioned that they are rarely open on time, sometimes closed for no reason. Very unreliable. Just don't come to Pai with the goal of visiting those natural hot springs. That would be a waste of time. Or go to the Pai Hot springs hotel. They have the same hot spring inside.. for...

This place is worth a visit. There’s 4 cascading pools that are 36, 35, 34 and 33 degrees Celsius. Nothing controls the temp it’s just an approximation that they cool by one degree each and it’s probably about right. There’s also two kids pools a bit lower down (see bottom pic) that are warm (about 28deg). At the very top where the water comes out of the ground there’s some natural 80 degree pools but obviously these are prohibited from entering. There’s some nice grounds which makes for a tranquil environment. Best to go first thing in the morning while it’s still cool and cloudy, it wouldn’t be pleasant here if it’s hot and sunny. Or alternatively coming here in a rain storm would be spectacular.

Nice relaxing Hot springs. You have many Pools. Further down one Pool with warm water. More Up you have 4 Pools (33° / 34° / 35°/ 36°C). If you Walk Up the way you can Go to the Spring where the water is boiling hot. Many other Pools are closed and just get maintained (probably all little run down BC If COVID) The sun is Here until Like 14-15 o clock. So i recommend to come little later bc the hot water + the sun May be to much ti handle. They also have shower and changing rooms. Entry Fee is 300baht for foreigners and 150 for foreign Kids. Thai pay 60 Baht and 30 for Thai Kids. Motorbike entry Fee is 20baht If you Like hot water and its a rainy cold day i can recommend this hot spring

Nice place! 300 baht entry fee for adults and parking is available. Quite a few people but wouldnt call it crowded. The furthesr part at the top is just a walk through as the water temperature there is 80 degrees celcius. Signages around saying no boiling of eggs though i still see people doing it. At the bottom area, there are tiers to bath in and it gets slightly cooler the lower you go with the highest point being 36 degrees celcius. Ensure to take a break in between or else you may get a heat stroke! There are simple facilities nearby to wash up when you are done! Wouldnt recommend coming in the peak of noon since it's hot and you're bathing in hot water.
