The ride from Pai Centre to Tha Pai Hot Springs is an adventure in itself, especially if you rent a scooter or bike. The entry fee for foreigners is 300 baht, which gets you access to changing rooms, showers, toilets, and a small shop (trust me, grabbing an ice cream after the soak is a must!).
The springs are set up in tiers, with each pool slightly warmer than the one below it. The temperature increases by about 1°C per level, topping out at 37°C. We went around 3 PM on a Thursday, and there was plenty of space to relax. My favorite was the 36°C pool—it was just the right temperature, and there was a cooler pool right next to it, so you could switch between them easily.
After soaking, you can walk up to see the hot spring source, where the water reaches a crazy 80°C. The only downside? The whole place smells like boiled eggs thanks to the sulfur. But honestly, after a while, you kind of stop noticing. Overall, it’s a super chill spot and definitely...

Says "open" on Googlemap ... well, they never picked up the phone. Our hotel receptionist mentioned that they are rarely open on time, sometimes closed for no reason. Very unreliable. Just don't come to Pai with the goal of visiting those natural hot springs. That would be a waste of time. Or go to the Pai Hot springs hotel. They have the same hot spring inside.. for...
