An amazing experience! Shortly before sunsets the bats fly out of the cave in a never ending line. It last for more than 30 minutes. Note: The cave is up on the hill and is NOT accessible as it is protected. Depending on the weather the bats fly to the left or right of the cave, against the wind! Best for viewing is, if they fly to the left (Westerly direction) towards the setting sun. I have been there 4 times, 3 times they flew to the West, once to the East. Only on one of these days the setting sun was not hidden by clouds, that when I was able to take the attached image. [Follow me on insta:...

Correct way if follow Google direction here. Roads rough to drive in. Guides offer tours to get there. About 1300 bhat per adult 650 bhat per child. After bats fly out, skies turn v dark fast n roads are hard to drive.

In early June 2023, bats flew out about 634pm. Continuous stream for 20 to 30 minutes. Bring binoculars and good camera / hp with good zoom for photos n videos.

Bring own food n drinks to occupy urselves while waiting. No toilets around. No eateries nearby though looked like they were going to build something nearby.

Look through the posts here. Accurate about...

The going start 18:32. At the period I went. The bat have 3 directions to go. As you are Infront of the cove and you look the mountain 1 is left 2 is straight to you and 3 right. One time I went bats go half and half left and center. Not the best. But an other time was all right. The sound and the massiveness was amazing. Also right from the coffee is a small street so you can go there and wait to come. This is the best spot to view if you lucky to...

It looks that this park was marked incorrectly on google maps. The parking lot, wc an beginning of the trails was ~1 km left of the place that was marked when I visited. Actual place is on the corner of "Bat viewing road". Interestingly, local people even blocked the road to the place marked on google maps, as actually nothing was there. Comments are very positive and people recomend to come at ~17.30 to see bats flying out.
