Chokchai Museum Pakchong — Attraction in Nakhon Ratchasima Province

Well.....whoever says you cannot make money as a farmer needs to visit this museum. Definitely not what I expected! The first 2 floors of the museum were what I was expecting, history of Chokchai and his raise to being a cattle/dairy farmer. The next 2 floors show the spoils of his success. A photographic camera display that would make even the most amateur drool. I have a interest in the hobby and saw gear that would only be seen in photographic magazines. Gold plated pro Nikons, Hasselblad's and lens so custom that some were one off's built especially for Chokchai. What cowboy doesn't own a rifle or 100! 100 is an under estimate. I'm not a fire arms fan but to see a rifle use by John Wayne is pretty cool! Gold plated revolvers, bone handled colts, hand machined rifles with such detail they are works of art in there own right. Cannot forget the ladies with what has got to be one of the largest Swarovski crystal collections in Asia! Several pieces are either one of a kind or of ultra limited production. Some the rarest pieces were delivered to Chokchai by Swarovski himself. Then his car collection that includes a Mercedes 300SL Gull Wing. 1 of 4 in Thailand. Included in the collection is a 300SL Mercedes model for every year there was a design change. Great place to visit with kids. The fluffy adorable sheep, you could feed and pet them. You’re need to pay Thb $40 for a small bundle of grass to feed the animals to have close encounter with them.
