Read moreThis market never disappoints . No matter what is your reason to visit you will never come out with empty hands from this one. There are a lot of stalls even on weekdays but the main market is on weekends. Food stalls are always there with mouth watering Thai cuisine and prepared with cleanliness and hygiene. You can bargain even more than the cheap price asked and most vendors do consider if you buy a bit in quantity. Over the past few years mostly after Covid 19, the prices have gone slightly higher not only in this market but overall in entire Thailand. Found some roast duck that looked good, then some braised pork leg that looked amazing. The pork purveyor also offered a table “eat in service” for our party so we were sold. Pork can with tasty sides of fresh braised greens, pickled greens, egg, rice, and soup. One of the best meals of our visit.
This section of the market is under roof under a parking structure. Upside is you are protected from weather. Downside is there is no natural breeze and it can be sweltering. Lots of curbs and uneven pavement, so handicapped...
