This area is the most northern part of Bang Niang Beach. From this location you are separated from the next northern beach Khuk Khak ( although it is spelled many different ways ), by a tidal lake and small tributary that feeds the lake. At certain times the area can be passed on foot - at other times (high tide) it becomes difficult and deep. This area is mostly vacant land with many coconut trees therefore this location is often referred to by locals and frequent visitors to the area as "Coconut Beach" for quick reference as which part of Bang Niang beach they are talking about. This part of Bang Niang beach is home to a number of family run businesses that have set the beach up with beach chairs and umbrellas so that guests can enjoy true beach front day of relaxation with unobstructed 180 view of the sea and literally only a few steps to plunge into the Andaman. All of the beach chairs are serviced with cold beverages and in most instances food. The area has allot of parking, massage, beach showers, restaurants and bar service making it a popular hang out which can be quite busy in the high season.
It should be noted that most of Bang Niang beach has been losing the actual beach for many years. Sea level rise and shifting currents have reduced the beach front and in many locations have eliminated it almost completely making it impossible to travel the full length of the beach at certain locations "on foot" even at low tide. Every year the beach chairs move a little further back from the years previous location however every year you can be assured of having a beach chair right at the waters edge. :)
A great place for a day at the beach, a few cold ones and mingling with visitors from...

At the entrance going down to the beach of excellent places: chicken house the excellent restaurant on which I wrote a separate review search on Google. and bobbes bar an excellent place with reggae music and tan beds. The beach is very long and in its continuation the khuk khak beach is also wild and there is no end, an excellent wild beach,...
