At first it looked somewhat abandoned, but soon we were approached by very helpful staff that were eager to show us the wildlife and plants. Although the language barrier made it a bit difficult. There is also a nursery for plants and you can even take away selected seedlings. Just as we were about to leave we met a young park ranger that speaks English and even German, she was very keen to show us around, unfortunately we had to leave shortly after to get back to town and check out of our hotel.

We recommend to stop here after taking a Talay Noi boat tour and spend about 30-60 minutes. It's probably not worth driving all the way here from Phatthalung town just for the...

Free “boardwalk” to a lookout platform and a loop in the interior on a cement walkway. Mangrove fields and marshlands. Orchids and unusual trees. Marsh birds. We saw an eagle.
