The Japanese Garden — Attraction in Tunis

I have walked to several parks... and generally they are dying, dead, or long closed... this one most certainly is not! And AMAZING!! With a nice water area with cute lil bridges, and plenty of shaded areas to sit and enjoy a sarnie! The entrance is far right... which I found on the way out, as after walking the wrong way to the far left, found a low wall to step over.. and got in. I tried to add fotos! But Google maps just...

Very beautiful place to visit, the lake area is amazing. I do wish there was more in the park for kids, it's very dated and old and very basic. There are no swings or slides, just some climbing bars and one rocket style swing type thing and a seesaw. It would be nice to see a slide or things for younger children. However on the plus side the park was very well maintained, its a lovely place to walk and we will definitely go...

Like most facilities here, it was probably a beautiful place when it first opened but there are a few things missing now: like the wc, used the one in the mosque next door.. kids games not safe or mostly broken.. Stray dogs and motorbikes occasionally crossing inside. It was not a bad experience, we enjoyed being outdoors and playing with the kids, but ofc it was not as pleasant as I thought...
