I would like to share our comments about the Çamlıca Tower Restaurant Floor, which we visited on June 19, 2021, starting from the reservation stage; The web/mobile application for reservation is not satisfactory, not user friendly. (You cannot group the tables according to the number of people, but instead of decreasing the number of tables you can choose as the number of people increases, the table types that can be selected remain constant and the customer can be offered the option to buy the tables by grouping.) A confirmation message is not received after the reservation is created. After the reservation has been created, it is not possible to change it. It is almost impossible to reach by calling phone numbers, you can reach them by calling many times. Tower staff are engaged and relevant from the start. They accompany you to the elevator. But there is confusion in the entrance hall, there are three types of tables. Are you hesitating about which one to queue for; reservations can be directed to one information desk and others to other desks. We went to the restaurant floor not with the panoramic glass elevator, but with an elevator that I consider to be a closed or personnel/freight elevator. On one floor, the technical staff also got on the elevator. The customer and the staff should not see each other. The feeling that my family and I have when we come to the restaurant floor; it's as if the waiters or chefs couldn't be a complete team with each other, they didn't know each other. They should be a little more sincere and like a team. (In other words, if the waiters trained in another restaurant had been brought here as a team, it would have been more compatible.) Also, the bidet in the men's washbasin was defective. There should be a price for a service, separate pricing should not be made for foreign tourists and Turkish citizens separately. The breakfast that is served as a mixed breakfast for two in the restaurant seems weaker than the type of breakfast served by a mediocre restaurant. Such a breakfast cannot be provided for this price. The menu photos and the presentation and variety are incompatible. When I conveyed the issue to the waiter, "VISUALS ON THE MENU ARE NOT THE SAME WITH THE REAL MENU." I got the answer. Yes that's right, the phrase on the menu says that too. However, writing this CANNOT BE ACCEPTABLE IN A FACILITY THAT CAN BE TURKEY'S SHOWCASE. Also on the menu, I say "10% SERVICE FEE IS TAKEN." I didn't see any expression. Customers who come to the Restaurant or Cafeteria section already pay an excessively high fee, leaving a large amount of money. I also think that there should be no tower entrance fee. In other words, customers who come to the restaurant/cafeteria section should not be treated unfairly about wages. This situation is not in line with fairness and justice. In conclusion; Well done to everyone working in the planning and construction of the tower, but I consider that the reservation, wage and service policy of the restaurant/tower section is not at all suitable for the politics and policies of the Republic of Turkey, which is a great state, and strategic communication. I hope that the authorities will abandon these wrong practices as soon as possible, and remove the Turkish Republic and the Turkish Nation FROM THE STATUS OF A STATE MAKING ANY APPLICATION THAT CAN BE QUALIFIED AS...
Read moreThis place is more of recreation, resting, refreshing than it is for antiques. It's located at the peek of the hill, therefore there is good refreshing winds 🍃🍃🍃, tress and 🌴🌴🌵 greens as you move up closer to the tower🗼
However, there some points worthy noting as you plan to go there.
⭕There are no buses🚌, or trains🚃 that reach directly to this place. Therefore we had to walk up the hill.
Possibly they are trying to fix this because there were already workmen trying to create some routes in the 🏡 gardens and some kind of bush around this place when we visited it a few weeks ago
⭕Entering tower 🗼 is with payment. It's not small payment. Something like 60 TL 💰🤑 and above. So basically you should go with something like 100tl. But if you are going for recreation your budget should be something like 300 tl and above if you're with family.
⭕ Visiting the tower 🗼 should be for those who are not afraid of heights. Because the lift in the tower can go as far as more than 250meters in the air.
⭕ The museum 🖼️🎨 cards don't work for this place. Someone is supposed to buy a separate ticket 🎟️, go with cash on her/he, or pay with debit or credit 💳 card at the entrance.
⭕The last and the most important thing about this place is that, except for the gardens around the hill, the tower is strictly exotic, and recreational, modernic there is nothing that is historically fascinating about this place. Absolutely nothing.
✳️ Therefore if you are in for historical, antiques, middle ages - antifacts of the ancient and middle ages then you won't find anything of that sort at this place. ‼️ You should therefore instead visit the Galata tower around taksim areas. If you are looking for touring some kind of fascinating antiques.
My verdict 🔱 Thus according to me this place is better suited for recreational, refreshing, outings, lovers tours, family outing and so on. 🚫 Not for natural wonders, antiques...

Unfortunately, when we visited the Çamlıca Tower, we realized that we had been discriminated against.
You must be asking why?
I can tell you exactly why it started as soon as you drove in as there is only Vale parking, yes we can understand that as there are hardly any spaces to build a parking garage but at the entrance when buying the ticket, my severely disabled ID was not recognized and we found that discriminatory because the lady at the cash register said NO only rural people, so only Turkish severely disabled IDs are allowed to be recognized.
One question am I severely disabled only in Germany or worldwide? Everywhere in Istanbul my severely handicapped ID was recognized and only not accepted by them on the tower.
Get the ticket when we moved out, the young man in the elevator looked at us to see if we were from another planet.
When I asked him to leave the page because we wanted to see how the numbers were rising rapidly, he covered his eyes and played his cell phone to me.
Arrived safely on floor 34, my wife asked if there was still a long way to go. He returned his arrogance to me
You are not allowed upstairs.
The view would have been beautiful if the windows had been clean and there was nowhere to sit to enjoy the beauty of Istanbul.
There were 4 employees on floor 34 and we wanted a little information the employees could or wanted to give us the information we just asked what else is about us and whether there are still opportunities to get something to drink or eat??
Disappointed, we went downstairs and a very nice lady asked us if we had another wish, which we politely declined.
When we wanted to have our car back, we quickly bathed the boys because it was cold, but we still had to wait 10 minutes, even though there were 6 boys with cigarettes in their mouths at Vale.
Our conclusion the staff is untrained...
