We were forced to call THE POLICE!

Our mistake was not checking the Google Maps reviews beforehand. You should never enter AlD jewellery store! We were just walking through the bazaar and happened to walk into this store. The fact that Google Maps even shows this store as permanently closed says it all.

We spent over six hours in this store trying to get a refund. They sold us poor-quality rings that broke after just three days. Keep in mind, we were staying at a resort — I wasn’t doing anything with my hands, and I only wore the ring in the evening for dinner.

When we asked for a refund, the lies began. First, they told us that refunds are not possible in Turkey. Then they said refunds are illegal. After that, they claimed that if a refund were issued, they would deduct 25% from the amount we paid and 25% from the amount they received — meaning we would lose 50% of the total. Later, they changed the story again, saying refunds are technically possible, but we would need to contact some financial consultant. Every time, it was a new lie.

Eventually, they simply said, “Refunds don’t work that way in Turkey,” and refused outright. But my husband consulted a legal advisor and confirmed that we do have the right to a refund in Turkey — just like in any civilized country. They just lied to us. They cheated us. These are terrible people, and I honestly don’t know how they live with themselves.

On top of that, we were blamed for being “ungrateful,” even though all we wanted was our money back. They said we were offered amazing service, and when we didn’t accept their version of things, they switched tactics — acting out a “good cop/bad cop” routine. One staff member would speak to us for an hour, then another would show up pretending to be the manager, and so on.

They kept changing who the “manager” was. First one person claimed to be in charge, then passed us off to someone else, who also said he was the manager. The people were aggressive. One of them even lunged at my husband. I eventually broke down in tears and had to leave the store because I couldn’t take the emotional manipulation anymore. They kicked us out of the store, and around eight people were yelling at us, saying we were not allowed to enter the store premises again or take any photos. They even threatened to take legal action against us.

They know exactly how to twist words and guilt-trip you into feeling like you’re the problem — when the real problem is their dishonest business and their horrible products. Instead of offering a refund, they tried to upsell us an even more expensive ring.

When the police finally arrived, after more than an hour, they returned the ring — already altered — and told me I was ungrateful because they had “added more gold.” But the ring was still awful: crooked, uneven, with two visible defects. The stone was badly set. I didn’t want the ring back. I didn’t want it “fixed.” I just wanted my money back.

They also claimed that their quality was so exceptional that they offered a 10-year warranty — in writing. However, when we were talking to another “manager” he told us the warranty was 5 years. And when we started questioning them about the refund, we noticed that the paper we had signed stated, in tiny print, that the warranty was only 2 years. I wouldn’t be surprised if even those 2 years aren’t legally valid.

In short, everything they say is a lie. If you buy something from this store, you will never get your money back, and the quality of the product does not match the price.

Hi, Hallo und guten Tag. Du bist hier genau richtig. Shopping Shopping Shopping auf einer türkischen Art. BAZAAR Hier bekommst Du fast alles. Viele der Händler sind freundlich und nett, denn Sie wollen ja auch was verkaufen. "Schauen Sie in Ruhe", hieß es. Aber! Es gibt auch Händler, die nicht so nett sind. Fazit, nichts gekauft und ab zum nächsten. Hier gibt es kein Kaufzwang! Wenn Du etwas nicht kaufen möchtest, dann musst Du es auch nicht. Als Hinweis, es handelt sich sehr oft um Waren aus der Türkei....... Made in...... , Adidas, Puma, Nike und viele weiterere Marken. Solltest Du Flughafen vom Zoll kontrolliert werden, kann es Probleme geben. Den meistens sind es gut kopierte Waren. Also nicht original. Jetzt zum Preisvergleich, in unserem Hotel kosten Adidas Schuhe 33. Nach Verhandlung 25€. In der vom Hotel ist ein Markt, hier kosten die Schuhe 23€. Hier auf dem Bazar liegen wir bei 20€. Also Spielraum ist vorhanden.

Und bei den netten Händlern, kannst Du auch handeln.

Burada satın alma zorunluluğu yoktur! Bir şey satın almak istemiyorsan, zorunda değilsin. Not olarak, bunlar genellikle Türkiye'den gelen ürünlerdir...... Made in...... , Adidas, Puma, Nike ve daha birçok marka. Havalimanında gümrük tarafından kontrol edilirseniz sorunlar olabilir. Çoğunlukla iyi kopyalanmış mallardır. Yani orijinal değil. Wie immer lese ich natürlich vorher die Bewertungen von diversen Orten. Ich war leicht abgeschreckt von Kommentaren wie "nur Lumpen, man wird in die Läden gezogen oder aber auch man wird beleidigt".

Wir sind dennoch zum Alara Grand Bazaar gelaufen. Es waren ungefähr 12 Minuten vom Delphin Botanik Platinum. Sehr angenehmer Fußmarsch, den wir sogar 2x gemacht haben.

Wir haben uns beim ersten Besuch einen Überblick verschafft. Die Qualitäten geprüft und verglichen. Hier sind deutliche Unterschiede zu spüren gewesen. Die Verkäufer haben sich natürlich gemerkt bei wem man schon mehrfach vorbei gelaufen ist. Und dann kamen manchmal spitzen wie. "Wieso gehst du überall rein nur bei mir nicht?" Oder "du gehst immer in den falschen Laden bei mir ist alles besser..." einfach nett ignorieren oder dankend abweisen. Beleidigt wurden wir zumindest in unserer Muttersprache nicht. Alles andere konnten wir eh nicht verstehen, was uns auch egal war. In den Laden hat uns aber niemand gezogen oder wie auch immer. Die meisten Verkäufer haben sich in diversen Sprachen versucht ranzutasten auf welche man halt reagiert.

Schluss endlich haben wir in 3 Läden was gekauft. Wobei es sich hier z.b nicht lohnt einen Adidas Pullover oder Nike für 10-20 Euro zu kaufen. Da diese in Deutschland teils original eh nur 50-60 Euro kosten. Wenn überhaupt.

Wer einen solchen Markt aufsucht weiß auch was er will. Hier gibt es von Moncler über Philipp Plein und Off White alles was das Herz begehrt. Alles ist natürlich fake. Aber wenn man mehr zahlt gibt es auch die 1 zu 1 Imitate. Z.b bei dem Händler der akkurat deutsch spricht (draussen steht dran wir labern sie nicht voll hier können sie in ruhe gucken) er hat z.b Shirts für 5 euro. Sagt aber selber die Qualität ist nicht so gut. Dann hat er mittlere Fakes für 10 Euro und halt die qualitativ guten 1 zu 1 Fakes für 15-20 Euro pro Shirt. Spürbar und Sichtbar ein deutlicher Unterschied. Hier gibt es auch die neusten Kollektionen und Modelle. Sowie Bundesliga und 2. Bundesliga Trikots. Die Trikots kosten z.b alle nur 10 Euro.

Moncler Westen sind für 40 Euro in guter Qualität zu bekommen. Orignalpreis wohlgemerkt weit über 1000 Euro...

Ein Burberry Pullover für 25 Euro in Top Qualität. Original knapp 1000.

Also kurzum wer ein wenig mehr investiert kriegt auch hier gute Fälschungen.

Am letzten Tag haben wir nochmal Souvenirs gekauft, Tee und den Frisör besucht. Also nicht beirren lassen. Man kriegt hier schon das was man sucht. Auch in guter Qualität.

Nachtrag:

Nach dem Waschen zuhause hat sich rausgestellt das die Worte mancher Verkäufer nichts wert sind... "meine Qualität kenne ich da passiert nichts beim waschen oder im trockner". Bei einem Pullover ist der Aufdruck komplett abgefärbt bzw ausgeblichen bei der ersten Wäsche.

Die Qualität vom Laden wo "wir quatschen sie nicht voll" dran steht ist überragend. Selbiger Pullover - nichts passiert in der Wäsche. Und auch alle anderen Sachen von...
