Attached is my feedback written to the marina - nobody replies. This marina is just taking money and don't manage relevant complaints. the shopping mall is nice, but the marina and their handling is not.
After having a 20-minute intensive talk and clear fact with them, this is more than disappointing – and to be honest made me very angry. They are only defending formal positions and not at all listen to my customer feedback which they should value.
Here are the facts: After booking and my captain communication I called the marina myself and asked about the places and positions. I expressed my wish to be near to the mall for a surprise event for my guests. The person on the phone said, there are no promises but said, there will be for sure a great solution nearby. Yes, it is not a formal confirmation, but a clear sign of making things possible for customers.
We got the most far out place available. We asked to change without any positive reaction. The berths near the mall are 50% empty – I know some owners want to reserve – but no action to solve or explain. Your communication and advertising are misleading – and only for this – with my feedback you should react properly.
The price of 1.000.-€ / night you are charging is the double / triple as other marinas around – which is ok -but service, experience and surrounding must be excellent.
And to sum up these are the issues: Communication was not as it should have been and even worse you don’t find proper solutions to calm me down No feedback at booking, where boats this level and size all the time will be located – clear briefing totally missing The pier we are at P4 – the pier is broken and has safety issues, see pictures / video attached The mooring robes are too short, in very bad conditions and are massively full of barnacles. bad for operations. The power supply was broken and needed to be repaired.
Is this service worth 1.000.- €? plus 200.- € for power and water ? Not at all! Is your management of a relevant complain good ? Not at all! Instead of fixing this on the phone or in person with me you ask me to send mails and spending senseless time to prove...
Read moreYalikavak Marina was high on my to do list when I visited Bodrum. I was really exited to travel there by bus, driving up and down the hills with stunning views. As I arrived the sun was due to set within the next half hour so I knew I got there at the best time. Unfortunately, being there in Mid May meant that a lot of shops were still closed or under construction. While the views and the breeze was absolutely breathtaking, I was disappointed by the lack of options and things to do at the time I was there. I checked online for all the new food shops that were being advertised as ‘now open’ - only to find out they’d be officially open a week later. Why false advertise and lie to people? I had to find alternative plans for places to eat and some of them were only taking bookings. In the end I found some places to eat and do shopping. The trip was definitely worth it but it would’ve been even better if stores and restaurants were open as advertised. However, this is a must visit place to spend some time taking in the scenery of the palm trees, modern architecture, yachts and ocean views. There always someone around to help you if you need assistance and mini LED maps with a list of restaurants, shops and activities in the area. Be sure to check it out and have your...
Read moreYalıkavak Marina is a delightful destination offering a relaxed yet upscale coastal experience. The marina itself is beautifully designed, with sleek walkways lined by luxury yachts and top-tier boutiques—an ideal place for a leisurely stroll or some scenic window shopping.
The dining scene is excellent, with a wide range of restaurants and cafés providing stunning sea views and diverse cuisines. Notable spots like Zuma and Novikov stand out for both ambiance and quality. Even if you’re dining by the water, the atmosphere is elegant without ever feeling stuffy.
Amenities are top-notch: the marina consistently wins awards (like the TYHA’s “Best Superyacht Marina” and “Clean Marina”) and is known for its high standards in service and facilities. The Yalıkavak Marina Hotel offers additional perks—beach access, a pool, spa and fitness centre, and private parking—adding to the overall convenience.
On the flip side, it does get quite busy, especially during peak season, and prices tend to reflect its premium positioning. But for those seeking a refined seaside outing with plenty of charm and amenities, this place delivers.
Overall, Yalıkavak Marina is a high-quality, scenic hub for dining, shopping, and strolling—an enjoyable and polished afternoon (or evening)...
