Absolutely disgusting beach. People sitting there with their whole families all day, leaving the trash at the beach which goes by wind straightly to the sea. Everyone was staring at me with a judgmental look because of my “normal” swimsuit. Water was extremely dirty with an algae near the shore and half eaten corn cores. Woman toilets looked like a urine-scented container. When you are sunbathing and not touching anyone, be prepared that someone will constantly pass a centimeter away from you. Police were checking document every hour. We only went there, since all the other beaches were full or closed, and this was the only one open....
Read morePublic (free) beach. Water is clean and the beach is cleanish. Swimming area is quite shallow so great for kids, with the end of it at around 180cm deep more suited for adults or swimming. There are quite many swim guards too. There is shade under the trees 6m away from the water but come early and be ready to share the shade. We went there on a weekday so it wasn't too crowded yet all trees were taken. Toilet also have shower and is accessible with Istanbul kart. Some snacks shop near the toilet.
