A great little beach very near the town, walking distance in fact. The space is small, thus by early afternoon gets very crowded. Parking is on the road side. WCs work, reasonably clean, but there are only 3 of them. Could use 2-3 more during busy times. Showers and change rooms available. Restaurant and ice cream shop right there, very nice. The restaurant looks very nice with thatched roof. But it fills fast. Attendants are very friendly and helpful (adjust umbrellas even when you don't ask). The view of mountains and harbor is great.
But the star of the show is the water. It is blue, clean, clear, shallow out ~10m, then drops off. No rocks to avoid, bottom is gravel/pebble, white and clean. Lots of tiny fish swimming around (non biting). Unless you have tough feet, rubber water shoes are a must. There is actually a lifeguard, surprise. Perhaps explaining the high ratio of families/kids. If you don't want to put up with small kids consider another beach (like across the road). June 2023 50TL per umbrella and lounge chair.
Across the road is another small pebbly beach, with no services at all. No rentals. Bring your own chair, umbrella. Water there is as-cold, but much wavier. The shallow is at most 1m wide, then drops off. No wonder this side is...
Read moreThe water is gentle and doesn't get deep quickly, so it's perfect for swimming. The waves are calm, and it's a relatively well-maintained beach, so it's great for swimming and relaxing.
However, there are many people sitting on sunbeds and smoking, so you have to be careful about this. As of August 24, the sunbed rental fee was 100 TL per person, and the umbrella was also 100 TL. 300 TL for 3 people. There's no time limit, so you can enjoy it as long as you want.
There are restrooms and open showers behind the beach, and there's a cafeteria where you can buy simple drinks, snacks, and food. It's so good that I want to...
Read moreNice, small beach with a bit of a pool vibe. I recommend arriving before 11:00 if you want to secure a sunbed. Sunbeds cost 100 Turkish lira each, and umbrellas are charged separately. While it's a municipal establishment, the prices are similar to regular beach clubs—for example, a beer costs 150 TL, while at a proper beach club it's 180 TL. It feels a bit odd, but the upside is you can bring your own food and drinks from outside. I recommend try to use the water but not for the...
