Kurumuş nehir yatağına aracınızi her zaman bırakabilirsiniz.

Olympos City in Antalya is a unique and captivating destination that seamlessly blends history, nature, and adventure. The ancient ruins of Olympos tell a story of a bygone era, with well-preserved structures like the ancient theater and the temple of Hephaestus.

One of the most alluring aspects of Olympos is its stunning natural beauty. Surrounded by lush forests and situated near a picturesque beach, it's a paradise for nature lovers. The Chimera eternal flames, a natural wonder that has intrigued travelers for centuries, are also a must-see.

Accommodations in Olympos range from treehouses to cozy bungalows, providing a unique and immersive experience in this charming coastal village.

Olympus or Olympos (Ancient Greek: Ὄλυμπος, Ólympos; Latin: Olympus) was a city in ancient Lycia. It was situated in a river valley near the coast. Its ruins are located south of the modern town Çıralı in the Kumluca district of Antalya Province, Turkey. Together with the sites of the ancient cities Phaselis and Idyros it is part of the Olympos Beydaglari National Park. The perpetual gas fires at Yanartaş are found a few kilometers to the northwest of the site.

The exact date of the city's foundation is unknown. A wall and an inscription on a sarcophagus have been dated to the end of the 4th century BC, so Olympus must have been founded at the latest in the Hellenistic period. The city presumably taking its name from nearby Mount Olympus (Turkish: Tahtalı Dağı, Timber Mountain), one of over twenty mountains with the name Olympus in the Classical world.

The city was a member of the Lycian League, but it is uncertain when it joined the League. It started minting Lycian League coins from the end of the second century BC, possibly the 130s. At this time Olympus was one of the six largest cities of the League, which possessed...

Olympos in October is great, warm in the day and cool at night. Many of the Pansiyons are closed but the best, Bayrams Tree Houses are still going strong. There are no high rise, just a long beach which you reach through the ruins of an ancient Roman city. Several cafes are still open and small shops, so plenty of excellent Turkish food at low prices. Very little traffic to spoil the clean air. Amazing scenery, Olympos is in a deep valley between mountains. You can relax an swim, or climb up and overlook the beach. I came for a week but have extended my stay.
