Adrasan Sahil — Attraction in Kumluca

Adrasan Bay is located in the District of Kumluca, in the Antalya Province in Turkey. The name Adrasan, also known as Cavuskoy (Çavuşköy in Turkish - "Cavus" means sergeant and "koy" means bay1]), comes from the Greek name Erdassa. The Bay of Adrasan extends along more than 2.5 km of Turkey's southern coast. The bay includes the town of Adrasan, in addition to smaller villages and hamlets. The town (3-5 kilometers form the bay) offers a couple of local bars, a post office, small shops and an open-air market. Adrasan Bay is a naturally protected area, surrounded by a national park with pine forests, Taurus Mountains, blue water lagoons and sandy beaches. It is perfect for water sports and various outdoor activities, such as hiking, trekking, snorkeling, diving and deep sea fishing.[2]

In July 2015, a forest fire erupted near the Adrasan Beach. No loss of life was reported. However, around 125 hectares of forestland was burned, affecting the junction of the Lycian Way, the beach road and the slopes of the mountains. All the trekking routes have since been restored and are traversable for hikers. All of the site's tourist facilities have remained open.

The most popular way to get to Adrasan Bay is either by rental car, private transfer, taxi, public bus or shuttle bus – from Antalya airport[3 or simply by using a mini bus ( dolmuş in Turkish) that travels to and from Kemer, Kumluca and other nearby towns.

During my trip to Adrasan Bay, one of the highlights was taking a small boat tour to explore the nearby islands scattered across the turquoise waters. Unlike the crowded resorts along the Turkish Riviera, Adrasan feels intimate and peaceful, and the boat trips here reflect that charm.

We boarded a traditional wooden boat early in the morning, and within minutes, the view of the pine-covered hills surrounding the bay gave way to the open sea. The ride itself was smooth and relaxing, with the salty breeze and the sound of the waves setting the perfect tone for the day.

Our captain stopped at several small islands and hidden coves, each more picturesque than the last. The water was so clear that we could see fish swimming beneath us, and at some stops we jumped straight into the sea for a refreshing swim. One of the most memorable moments was snorkeling near a rocky island, where we discovered colorful marine life in surprisingly pristine conditions.

Lunch on the boat was another treat—freshly grilled fish, salads, and local bread, served while anchored in a quiet bay. It felt like dining in the middle of paradise.

Adrasan Koyu Antalya İli Kumluca İlçesinin bir köyü olan Adrasan Köyünün plajıdır. Bu tabiat harikası koy yaklaşık 2 km kumsala ve pırıl pırıl bir denize sahiptir. Eski adı Çavuşköy olan Adrasan halkı turizmle uğraşmakta ve misafirlerini çok sıcak karşılamaktadır. Bölge olta balıkçılarınında yoğun ilgi gösterdiği bir yerdir. Son yıllarda Adrasan Antalya'nın en önemli tekne turları merkezinden biri olmuştur. Bu gelişmede plajları Maldivlere benzetilen ve çok popüler olan "Suluada Tekne Turları" itici güç olmuştur. Bunun yanında Balıkçılar Koyu'nda toplanan pat pat teknelerde özel turlar için çalışmaktadır. Adrasan'dan Suluada tekne turları dışında Kemer yönünde yer alan cennet koylara da tekne turu düzenlenmektedir. Bu koylar sırası ile Akseki Koyu, Korsan Koyu (Çoban Limanı), Sazak Koyu, Yalancı Koy ve Porto Ceneviz Koyu'dur. Koylara tur yapan teknelerin bazıları 4 bazıları ise yüzme saatini daha uzun tutmak için 3 koya uğramaktadır. Korsan Koyu, Sazak Koyu ve Porto Ceneviz Koyu kesin uğranılan 3 koy.
