Do you love chasing waterfalls?
I do. This is Duden Waterfalls, located in Antalaya, Turkey. #DudenWaterfalls is a group of waterfalls comprising #UpperDudenWaterfalls and #LowerDudenWaterfalls. The Upper Duden Waterfalls, also called #AlexanderWaterfalls, is situated at a distance of 10 km from the city center. I instantly fell in love with it when I saw its milky white water fall from a height of 20m into a blue pool of water surrounded by lush green vegetation, and hillocks. When viewed from the caves beneath, the waterfalls present a breath-taking scene.
The Lower Duden Waterfall, located upstream just 8 km from the city center, drops from a greater height than the Upper Duden Waterfall. The white cascading waterfalls from an altitude of 40m into the sea. It’s a visual treat and an unforgettable experience whose beauty no camera can capture and. I really loved seeing this waterfall.
Which is your favourite waterfall?

Antalya Aquarium - A Rainy Day Adventure 🌧️🐠

Went there with my family and bought tickets for full visits (Aquarium & Snow World & WildPark & Face2Face & XD Cinema). This was around 80Euro/person in total. The low stars (3) were because of the overprice. Even if the sum of the stuff you can visit looks a lot, the snow and the cinema plus the wild park are rather small, nothing huge/large to see. (worth mentioning that we went to Valencia, Viena, Budapest and Lisbon before-zoos and aquariums-)
The Aquarium tunnel is definitely the longest one we've seen and it is nice to visit, inside you can see various species of fish and you can spend around 1h if you thoroughly inspect all the aquariums. The nice touch is that you can feed the Koi fish and sting rays for some fee(I would say that one is decent and worth the money).
Another nice touch is that you can see some real ships or a plane inside the tanks. The glass in most places is clean but there are also scratches on some other parts(due to poor manors of the tourists). The water in some tanks was a bit foggy, maybe because they recently cleaned the aquariums(?).
The complex with the aquarium itself is nice and worth visiting but besides the ships and the long tunnel you can't find anything special that deserves the huge amount of money they ask per person.
The snow chamber is a nice touch, nothing big, just a room with some snow and some ice, some interesting constructions in ice but also a lot of constructions built from some synthetic material imitating ice/snow. You receive some clothes there so no worries, you won't freeze to death :P. It is quite refreshing to do a walk in there.
The wax statues site has quite a bunch of statues of a handful of celebrities and it is interesting to see if it is the first you are seeing, if not then you might walk through it quite quickly. Some of the statues look pretty real others not that much because the characters look a bit younger than in real life (and I am not comparing them to the old/current age of the personalities obviously). So you need around 15-30 mins here depending on how fast you want to go through the scene.
The 4d movie is around 15 mins if not less and presents the aquarium complex. I would say it would be nicer to visit it after you visited the rest so you can make an overview of the visit at the end but that is just my thought :).
The wild park section is actually a bigger room with aquariums with lizards, snakes and some spiders. It is nice to see but again it doesn't justify the huge price.
They have restrooms at the entrance before you get into the scenes and also in the Aquarium. There are also shops for gifts and places where you can buy drinks and ice cream(at least the ice cream has a fair price). Very near there are parking lots, we went there by mini bus and that parking lot looked rather full, not sure if it was the only place or it is bigger.
Bottom line, if you really want to see as much aquariums as you can in the world, then go ahead and pay the money, if not and if this is not the only one you visited and you look for fish diversity then this is too expensive for what it offers.
It is a great place to visit but for a much lower fee. We will definitely not going back anytime soon if the prices are staying the same.

Overpriced Tourist trap! Unless you like this type of attraction it is sad to say most tour operators and apps recommend the aquarium as a top attraction- sadly it is not and wouldn’t recommend for the value you get. A few major dissatisfactions:
- facility is in bad shape, no baby care bathroom although this is advertised as extremely kid friendly. Beware bathrooms are in top or bottom floors, if you are at the aquarium main entrance there isn’t one there which is a shame!
- no elevator to go up and down the many rounds of structure, it is also dangerous for kids as there glass barrier isn’t as high
- aside from length of aquarium tunnel the state of fish and marine life is actually sad, you could tell little maintenance happens and water appears too murky and dirty for fishes
- variety of marine life is LACKING, barely any species to see and a few sharks here and there but they use the whole length of aquarium experience to basically show the same fishes in different sections
- stingrays pool was really sad, nobody was there to control or monitor them. Anyone could touch with them without guidance
- no real educational element, it felt more like an amusement park rather than guided tours or information boards/content for kids or guests
- PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THE WAX MUSEUM, it is a total rip off of your money with badly maintained outdated space, you could tell they were trying to fill up the corners and same wax figures looked nothing like their celebrity counterparts
Generally I would not spend your money here but rather go to more nature tours. Top management please fix the basics and make this aquarium truly about sea life and care for the animals and thanks please

FALSE AND MISLEADING ADVERTISING
I would give 0 stars if I could. I visited Antalya Aquarium, paying £60 for 2 adults, and I left feeling completely misled and disappointed. The experience did not reflect the advertsing made in the aquarium.
One of the main reasons I visited was the advertised claim that this is the “World’s biggest tunnel aquarium”. In reality, this is false. The tunnel is not a continuous structure, but broken into smaller segments, and at 131 meters, it is neither the longest nor the largest, the Shanghai Ocean Aquarium holds that title with a 168-meter tunnel.
Most tanks contained only small, common fish with very limited species variety. The difference between the marketing and the actual experience felt deceptive. Overall, the experience was so UNDERWHELMING.
Other disfactory issues included:
• Overcrowded tanks with fale/plastic coral, starfish and shipwreck props
• Fish visibly in distress or confined to inappropriate spaces
• Unhelpful staff
To make matters worse, I found out that their PRICING MODEL FELT EXPLOTATIVE. Tourists are charged drastically more than locals, and this was not clearly disclosed beforehand, a shock considering the poor quality of the visit. To me, it felt that the staff were just interested in taking my money and not trying to resolve the situation. They won’t offer a refund, so do not bother purchasing a ticket.
Overall, this was not a good experience, and certainly not worth the price. I do not recommend Antalya Aquarium to anyone expecting a high standard, ethical, or immersive marine experience.

Antalya Aquarium is an impressive destination for those fascinated by marine life. The main attraction of the aquarium is its expansive and meticulously designed tanks, which house a diverse array of aquatic species from around the world. The highlight is the massive ocean tunnel, allowing visitors to walk through a transparent tunnel with panoramic views of sharks, rays, and other sea creatures swimming overhead. This immersive experience provides an up-close look at marine life in a captivating and educational setting.
In addition to the main exhibits, the aquarium features various themed sections, including tropical fish displays and interactive zones for children. The vibrant colors and intricate details of the aquatic environments are thoughtfully designed to showcase the beauty and diversity of ocean life. The aquarium also offers engaging educational content that enhances visitors' understanding of marine ecosystems and conservation efforts.
However, it is worth noting that the Ocean Ride, an additional attraction at the aquarium, falls short of expectations. This 3D experience, lasting only about five minutes, does not offer significant value for the cost. The ride is brief and lacks the depth and immersion one might expect from a high-quality experience. Overall, while the aquarium itself is a fantastic destination for marine enthusiasts, the Ocean Ride may not be worth the extra expense.
I suggest taking the Uber there as the bus is very confusing especially at night time though we managed to after waiting almost 30-40mins.

In the Green Haven of Karaalioğlu Park, Antalya
Antalya is home to many parks, but Karaalioğlu Parkı stands out for its vast size and well-preserved nature. This is my second visit since settling in Antalya for a month. The park left a lasting impression the first time, but today, it feels especially lush and vibrant.
The sky was clear, and the trees were full of life. The Mediterranean shimmered in transparent hues, and the distant Olympos Mountain stood majestically like a painting. The park exuded an air of serenity. Many locals sat perched on the rocky outcrops, gazing at the sea, lost in thought. Some sat in silence, deep in contemplation, while others exchanged quiet conversations in hushed tones.
On the way to the park, the weekend market added to the charm of the stroll. From cheese and honey to an array of colorful Turkish desserts, the market was brimming with delicacies. The sweet aroma of treats wafted through the air as locals skillfully selected their desired goods with familiarity and care. Simply walking through the lively market, taking in the sights and scents, made the experience even more delightful.
The walking paths here are filled with peace and happiness. It’s a place where one can step away from the demands of daily life and reconnect with oneself. Breathing in the fresh air, I am reminded of the beauty in life’s simple pleasures. Today, Karaalioğlu Parkı has gifted me a truly special moment.

A Hidden Gem in Antalya's Historic Heart
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Kılınçarslan Mahallesi, tucked away in the heart of Antalya’s old town, is an absolute delight for those seeking charm, history, and a touch of serenity. Strolling through Park Street feels like walking through time — narrow stone-paved lanes, beautifully preserved Ottoman-era houses, and the scent of jasmine wafting from garden walls.
What truly elevates the experience is its proximity to Karaalioğlu Park, where you can unwind under palm trees with sweeping views of the Mediterranean. Cafés and boutique hotels blend seamlessly with the historic atmosphere, offering quiet escapes just minutes from Antalya’s vibrant centre.
Whether you're a photographer, history lover, or just someone looking to enjoy the quieter, more authentic side of Antalya — Kılınçarslan is a must-visit. Peaceful, picturesque, and deeply rooted in the city’s heritage.

Southwest of the walls and within a short walk of Kaleiçi is a park hoisted on the cliffs, with views of the Gulf of Antalya.
Here you can take a leisurely walk, sipping Turkish tea under the pines and stopping on the main terrace to see the Mediterranean and the shadowy Bey Mountains.
Karaalioglu Park has a smattering of cafes, as well as a children’s playground, and some key landmarks like the mayor’s office, municipal theatre and the historic Hıdırlık Tower.
This coastal defence in the northwest corner has a Roman base from the 2nd century, topped by an Ottoman cylindrical tower.
However you spend your time in Antalya, try to be in Karaalioglu Park when the sun goes down

Karaalioğlu Park is a spacious, lovely area right in the center of Antalya, adjacent to the old town of Kaleici. Located by the sea, it offers fantastic views both day and night. The park boasts a diverse collection of well-documented trees, making it ideal for picnics. Animal lovers will appreciate the local dogs and cats, who are cared for by the community. Don't miss the large tea garden, which serves tea in authentic oversized teapots—a perfect setting for reading or soaking in the ambiance.

A medium sized park offering several food vendors, a small stadium, and even access to a 'beach'. The beach is actually a small restaurant with beach chairs but no sand. There is a small dock where you can swim in an area protected by the rocks. There's also a path along the cliff for great photo ops. There's a large children's playground and a protected house specially built for cats. Along the exit to the avenue are interesting statues as well as a covered arena for several basketball courts.
