Bath Basilica complex was located on the north side of the city, out of the city gates. The bath was dated to the 3rd Century AD., but later in 6th Century AD an apse was added to the central part and it was turned into a church. The back wall of the building was leaned during an earthquake. The consolidation works are continuing to protect this wall with all the traces of the eartquake.
