Mis Adana Kebap - Kurtköy - Harmandere — Attraction in Pendik

We visited Mis Adana based on a recommendation from our local agent and we’re glad we did. The food was exceptionally tasty. Not only was the Adana kebab outstanding, but the chicken wings and chicken shish kebab were also full of flavor and perfectly cooked.

As a culinary enthusiast, I’m usually quite selective about the places I recommend. But I can confidently say that Mis Adana is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates genuinely good food.

The atmosphere is low-key and friendly, with helpful and kind staff. Service was quick, and the premises were clean and well maintained. Due to the limited indoor space, some tables may find the air conditioning a bit strong, but overall it’s a comfortable spot, suitable for both families with kids and adult groups.

If you’re expecting a high-end dining experience, this might not be your place. But if you’re after authentic, high-quality local food, Mis Adana delivers.

Private parking is available across the road, just ask the staff. We also found street parking without any issue.

When I arrived at Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport, I asked a local cab driver to take me to a place where he personally eats—somewhere authentic, local, and delicious. He did not disappoint!

The restaurant was lively and welcoming, with a friendly team buzzing around to take and serve orders - clearly the place is loved by the locals which is always a great sign. The Adana kebab was absolutely incredible—bursting with flavour—and the hot pepper certainly lived up to its name! For dessert, I tried "Sütlaç," a traditional Turkish rice pudding made with milk and rice. It might sound like an unusual combination, but it was absolutely delightful.

If you're feeling adventurous, I highly recommend trying the sour Ayran instead of the usual version. It's a unique twist on the classic drink that pairs perfectly with the meal.
