EKİNCİ RESIDENCE — Hotel in Pendik

Stayed here for 1 night for a connecting flight and then had another 1 night stay at the end of our holiday for our last connecting flight home.||The room was lovely and very clean, quite quiet and breakfast was great. There were tea & coffee making facilities in the room and a fridge, washing machine and living room area with TV.||If you have a short stay then it is absolutely perfect as so close to Sabiha Gokcen airport. We also had time to spare before our onward flight, so visited Viaport shopping centre which was close by.||Slight improvements could be made by supplying cutlery and pans etc if wanting to eat in and also the bed covers are way too small, so we woke up freezing.||We had an infant with us, so the offer of a travel cot would have been great, but we weren't offered one.||Breakfast was great and help yourself and all staff seemed friendly.||Would definitely stay here again on...

convenient if you need to spend the night near the airport very spacious room Wi-Fi is fast, you can work warm in winter in the room diverse breakfast, in general you can find at least something to your taste if you are picky

⁃ rooms smelling of cigarettes (asked for a non-smoking room, but it was still smoked and with a cigarette hole in the chair) ⁃ there were pen drawings on the window in the room (not even cleaned!) ⁃ shabby, there was not one light bulb, a hole from a cigarette in the chair ⁃ not very clean ⁃ wi-fi falls off, had to reconnect and re-enter the login-password approximately every hour

(booked for my close friend) VERDICT: don’t trust the misleading official photos...

I stayed one night here before heading to the airport. My room was large and clean. But I was on the ground floor with a direct entry onto the balcony area and although it was a large room it was quite noisy and I could hear noise very easily from outside. There was no bedside light or switch by the bed to control the light. The bed had a single sheet/duvet cover that hardly covered me and I ended up getting quite cold. These are small things but they do make a difference to the say Management could also do well to let people know that there is a huge shopping centre with lots of places to eat just 5 mins walk down the road. but you need to know where you are going otherwise you will never find it in the melee of building activity that is...
