I spent a dream vacation of 7 days at Land of Legends, and it was a truly memorable experience! From the moment we arrived until we left, everything was exceptional. Here are some of the aspects that stood out to me:
Accommodation: The room was incredible! The bed was super comfortable, and the spacious bathroom with both a bathtub and a rain shower was a real treat. The rooms were cleaned impeccably every day and came equipped with everything you could need (fast Wi-Fi, minibar, coffee machine).
Theme Park: The theme park is an amazing place, especially for families. We had a blast with so many attractions, from roller coasters to huge water slides and wave pools. We spent entire days there without ever getting bored. A huge plus is that there were almost no lines for any of the rides – the park's time management is excellent!
Pools and Beach: The resort has a private beach, and the main pool is massive! What I particularly loved was the dedicated pool area for kids and a separate, quiet area for adults to relax. The loungers were comfortable, and there were plenty of options for refreshing drinks served directly at the pool. The sea water was crystal clear, perfect for swimming, and the beach was pristine and well-maintained.
Restaurants and Dining: The food offerings were extensive! We had delicious meals with options for all tastes. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a wide variety, and for lunch and dinner, we tried both à la carte restaurants and themed buffets. Our best dining experience was at The Steakhouse, where we had a perfectly cooked steak. Also, don’t miss the desserts – they have an amazing selection of cakes and ice cream.
Spa and Relaxation: We also indulged in a spa treatment, and it was phenomenal. The wellness area is luxurious, with a sauna, hammam, and thermal pools. The massage was excellent and helped us relax completely after a fun-filled day at the park.
Activities and Entertainment: Land of Legends offers a wide range of activities, from water sports and kids' games to live shows in the evening. I highly recommend checking out the night shows – they are absolutely impressive and well-choreographed. We were also amazed by The Magic Show, which was a real treat.
Service: The service was flawless! The staff was incredibly friendly and professional, always available for any needs. Upon check-in, we were given a small guided tour of the resort, which was very helpful.
Location and Surroundings: Land of Legends is in a great location, close to the beach and shopping centers in Belek, which was perfect for us since we wanted to explore the area a bit and do some shopping. We also took the opportunity to visit a few local attractions, like the ruins of ancient cities and the port in Antalya.
Conclusion: Overall, Land of Legends is the perfect place for a 7-day vacation, especially if you're looking for a perfect mix of relaxation and entertainment. The resort offers top-notch facilities, a wide variety of activities, and a luxury vacation experience in every way. We’ll definitely...
Read moreOur recent family trip to the Land of Legends Theme Park was, unfortunately, a massive disappointment. We visited with a group of eight, including two children, hoping to create lasting memories. A free birthday ticket for my son was a welcome bonus, and the promise of a Masha and the Bear birthday celebration fuelled our excitement.
We pre-ordered a birthday cake, specifically requesting it be delivered to the Masha and the Bear stage for a special announcement and cake-cutting ceremony. This was clearly communicated and agreed upon at the ticket office when collecting our wristbands. However, this turned into a logistical nightmare. The cake was delivered to the wrong location, forcing us to spend a frustrating 1.5 hours trying to rectify the situation. While I commend the efforts of a staff member named Asli, who went above and beyond to help us salvage the situation and find a quiet spot for the cake, the fact remains that we completely missed out on the promised Masha and the Bear experience. This was incredibly disappointing, especially for my son who was looking forward to celebrating with his favourite characters.
Just when we thought things couldn't get worse, they did. After purchasing food in the Shopping Alley with the explicit understanding from a security guard that we could bring it back in, we were denied entry and forced to throw the food away! This was infuriating and a complete waste of money. Adding insult to injury, the prices inside the park were extortionate. A single can of Coca-Cola costing a staggering 740TL (£14.60) is simply unacceptable and borders on price gouging. Thought this may be a misunderstanding, but no, the lady took her mobile phone out and typed "740" in her calculator.
While the children enjoyed a few of the rides, the overall experience was overshadowed by the poor service and negative interactions with staff. Ultimately, the rudeness and incompetence we encountered forced us to cut our visit short; we left after only four hours, and that included the 1.5 hours spent chasing down the missing birthday cake.
The only saving grace was the kindness and dedication of Asli, the staff member who tried her best to rectify the cake situation. She truly went above and beyond to make my son smile on his birthday, and for that, I am grateful. However, one kind gesture cannot redeem the overall experience. Land of Legends failed to deliver on its promises, offering instead a day filled with frustration, disappointment, and exorbitant prices. I appreciate that others had a great time and had a positive experience, but for us, it was not.
Edit: In light of the response from Land of Legends, I am including a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation between Melike and me, in which she explicitly states that the celebration will occur in the Masha and the Bear area upon purchasing the cake. Additionally, the food we attempted to bring in was sourced from the Land of Legends Shopping Alley, which the security guard initially permitted when we exited the park, but her stance changed...
Read moreCongratulations on filtering through the five-star fluff and landing here. Let me offer you a helpful comparison to put things in perspective, especially if you're wondering whether Land of Legends (affectionately abbreviated to LoL, fittingly enough) is worth your hard-earned money.
Yesterday’s adventure: I went on an excursion that included zip-lining, buggy and kart riding, and ended with a two-hour rafting session. It included lunch, transport, and an excellent team of staff who were polite, organised, and actually seemed to care that you enjoyed yourself. Cost? €45 per person. Duration? 8am to 5pm. Overall? Exceptional value.
Today’s excursion: Land of Legends. €100 per person. For that, you get a wristband granting access to rides between 10am and 5pm. Transport was included and tickets were arranged through my LoveHolidays rep.
How it started: Upon arrival, we were informed that our tickets were not valid unless collected by a designated guide (a fun twist no one mentioned beforehand). We were then herded into a shop—because obviously, why not monetise a delay?—while staff attempted to contact our rep. We were assured it would be “five minutes.”
How it went: Forty minutes later, we were told to proceed to the main gate. False hope. We encountered the exact same issue at the next ticket desk. Trying to calmly explain the situation was met with a masterclass in interruption, which prompted me to politely ask if I could finish a sentence before being cut off again. After that, we were finally handed our wristbands—just an hour late, no big deal.
Inside the park: First impressions? If you're an adult, brace yourself: there are about three rides you can actually go on. Two rollercoasters—which, to be fair, were excellent—and a third ride that lifts you slightly in the air before promptly ending. That’s it. The rest of the day was spent at the pool, which was… fine.
Retail therapy? The shops are astronomically overpriced. You load money onto your wristband to pay for things (non-refundable, unless you leave with a whopping 3500 lira—around €80—unused). A slice of pizza? €20. A can of Coke? €4. It’s as if someone looked at Disney’s pricing model and said, “Not enough.”
And the shops—oh, the shops. Vast expanses of retail space dedicated to SpongeBob and Nickelodeon merchandise. €28 for a plastic sippy cup? Sure. Some rides are even hidden behind a retail labyrinth, so you have to pass through the gift shop to get to the fun. Subtle.
The verdict: If you’re a family with young children and a flexible relationship with your bank balance, you’ll probably have an okay time. It’s safe, it’s clean, and the kids will enjoy it… just less than they could have elsewhere for half the price. But if you’re seeking value, substance, or a hint of soul in your day out, LoL delivers little more than slick marketing and a strong sense of...
