Having visited the League of Legends Shopping Avenue in Antalya during June 2023, I found the experience to be a mixed bag of pleasant sightseeing and limited shopping options. If you are seeking an enjoyable time exploring a unique marketplace, this place will undoubtedly charm you. However, for shopaholics looking for an extensive array of famous brands, you might be disappointed.
The League of Legends Shopping Avenue boasts a captivating ambiance with its picturesque setting and diverse shops. The architecture and decor create an enchanting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to take a leisurely stroll and soak in the surroundings. The open-air concept allows visitors to revel in Antalya's delightful weather while browsing the various boutiques and stalls.
While the multitude of shops is evident, the absence of well-known brands might leave avid shoppers wanting more. Instead of finding popular retailers, visitors will encounter local vendors and small businesses offering an assortment of handmade crafts, unique souvenirs, and traditional Turkish products. While supporting local artisans and discovering one-of-a-kind items is commendable, those expecting an extensive shopping spree with big-name stores will likely feel underwhelmed.
For those seeking a distinct cultural experience, the League of Legends Shopping Avenue does not disappoint. It's an opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture, interact with friendly shopkeepers, and appreciate the creativity and craftsmanship of the region.
The place truly comes alive in the evenings, with vibrant lights and a bustling crowd creating a lively atmosphere. Street performers and musicians add to the entertainment, making the avenue an excellent choice for a relaxing night out with friends or family.
While shopping enthusiasts may find the selection limited, the League of Legends Shopping Avenue still manages to offer a few hidden gems worth exploring. Bargaining is a common practice here, so haggling over prices can add some excitement to your shopping experience.
In conclusion, the League of Legends Shopping Avenue in Antalya is a charming destination that combines a delightful ambiance with a modest shopping experience. If your primary goal is to indulge in retail therapy and browse famous brands, this may not be the best choice. However, for those seeking a captivating cultural encounter and unique souvenirs, the avenue's charm and atmosphere make it well worth a visit during your...
Read moreWent here on numerous recommendations, but was also on holiday at a resort nearby. Took us about 20 minutes from our resort. First point to make is definitely go before sunset, that way you can enjoy the shops, and the food before checking out the light show. There is a fountain show that lights up, from 8,9, and 10 o clock. We had to miss this unfortunately as we had kids with us and we didn't want to kiss the main event. As soon as you enter, it's very clean and expensive looking, all the shops are high end, mixed food court, so a bit of everything which is handy. So I actually didn't know there was a show on the water bit, Mrs explained this. I always thought it was just the really nice lights hanging above. There's 2 sort of bits, but basically starts from where you enter, but best bit is obviously the end, where the horses are and the castle as the backdrop. There's loads of steps people can sit on, so I recommend getting space early on if possible. The show isn't soo long, and it's actors arriving by boat and then dancing in the end, visually really nice. Castle lights up too which makes it much more of an experience. There is a fish restaurant, called Nemo, must book online as I guess it gets packed out. Has a massive fish tank inside, didn't go myself as not interested much in sea food. But if you want some Instagramable pics then defo should go. You can take boat rides, but I have heard of you purchase something from the shops, the receipt gets you a free ride. Otherwise paying upwards of £12 pp! Seems really pricey for a short boat ride. Overall a great place to just hand out, have some good food, also a restaurant does shisha of your into that. The show is very enjoyable, my kids loved it. Side note, if you need cash, there's a row of cash machines near all the food shops , with amazing rates, wish I went hear instead of exchanging some at...
