Tubing the Nile — Attraction in Jinja

Exhilarating, safe & great value

Tubing the Nile was a fantastic experience I would highly recommend to anyone considering it. If you have a day or two in Jinja this is a great way to spend it. Adam (a founder of the company) picked the 4 of us up from our Airbnb, brought us to meet our fantastic guide team - we were in safe hands with Brian, Shuggy, Silas, Jonah & Juma, who are expert kayakers. We spent 5 hours tubing the Nile, the rapids were great, we had moments of relaxation with pineapple and snacks, and other moments of racing down rapids. Beautiful scenery throughout & a photographer included in the price. Afterwards, we were treated to a delicious late lunch in their restaurant overlooking the Nile. We were very lucky our driver booked this crack team for white water rafting. We had previously done a grade 3 in Costa Rica with 1 guide so to do up to grade 4’s with a lead, support kayak, photographer and driver was very reassuring and maxing value for money. Jonah, Ivan & Faisal (and sorry to the one I’ve forgotten were brilliant). Straight into it, the route is set up so you can learn on the water and the difficult increases throughout. There were little extras like the photographer included and beers/ drinks at the end as well as fresh snacks in the water which really made the experience great. The team had over 20 years experience and they made it a better day than we could have imagined....

For a great value price, we were picked up from our accommodation and taken on a 5-6 hour tubing adventure on some fairly extreme rapids! Our guides Silas, Jonah, Juma, and Brian and photographer Shaggy accompanied us in safety kayaks every step of the way and made us feel so welcome and safe as we navigated the river. We saw so many different kinds of wildlife, which our guides could all identify by name, and were even treated to pineapple as we floated down the Nile and a lovely meal after the adventure at a restaurant with a view!
