Kabaka's Lake — Attraction in Kampala

This could, and should have been a prime tourist attraction of Kampala. If only they had developed it into one. The lake itself is pretty. The surroundings are not. A nicely paved pedestrian trail around the lake, some restaurants and some boats for hire could have turned the Kabaka's Lake into a hotspot and an iconic feature of Kampala. I love this lake because it's the largest man made lake in Uganda. It was constructed on the orders of King Mwanga of Buganda and this makes it a historical place to the people of Buganda.
