From my experience so far, it's simply the best garden/park in Kyiv and here's why: It's vast and beautiful. You will need a couple of hours simply to see all of the park areas. The garden is divided into thematical mini gardens, each representing different type of Flora around the globe. For example there is a thematical traditional South Korean mini garden, Japanese mini garden, Nepalese temple park area, desert plants area and many many more. It's a great place for spending time with your family and friends. The best words to describe this place are tranquility and serenity. The prices are reasonable: 50 UAHs for adults and 20 UAHs for children. There are also some paid expositions like jungle area with mini zoo, which you have to buy tickets separately. I definitely recommend visiting this place if you are into nature.

Amazingly beautiful garden ... right in the center of the city... Vast area... one needs to walk a lot... but its worth every effort... If you want to see the whole place to your hearts content, it will take you full day... Reach early as parking of vehicles may be a problem once the crowd builds up... At the entrance, there is a separate bus lane... people enter the bus lane by mistake and get caught by the traffic police... so be careful... Entrance ticket is about 60 UAH.... entry free for senior citizens... You can take a good picnic basket with small tent and sheets to put on the grass and spend a few hours lazing around ... Snacks are available inside the campus and so is different merchandise.... It was a great experience for us... every moment spent was worth the effort.

Оновлю інфу... 23.06.24 захотіли немовля вигуляти у ботсаду. Приїхали, а там квитки по 590 грн. Якийсь співаки співати будуть, якийсь заходи відбуваються... Тому квитки 590 грн для всіх, незалежно чи люди прийшли просто подихати повітрям чи прийшли на ці заходи. Тому ми не попали у ботсад. Платити 1180 грн на двох щоб погуляти з дитиної це повний бред. Добре, що пенсіонерам безоплатно залишили. Якщо робити цивільно, то огородити ці заходи і зробити окремий вхід. І залишити стандартні ціни на центральному вході до ботсаду. А то ці заходи блокують можливість іншим просто погуляти по парку. Багато людей просто поверталися і йшли назад... Мені ці святкові заходи як собаці п'ята лапа. Злі шукали де ще є такі парки, бо у Маріїнському парку залишили малий клаптик для людей і знизу постійно йде звучна музика як на море на дискотеці. Ботсад по территории огромен, есть много разных цветов и деревьев. Плюс живые бабочки и большая территория сирени. Лучше сюда идти в рабочее время, на выходные слишком много людей. 4 часа потратить - это минимум и быстрым шагом. Позитив, релакс, отдых от городской суеты в середине города. Но хотел заострить внимания на людей, которые ради снимка лезут в самую гущю цветов/кустов и вытаптывают корни и ломают ветки. Не понимаю таких людей. И как с этим бороться? На второй день пошли смотреть бабочек. И там не обошлось от бескультурья. Подростки лет 12-14 начали сунуть руки к крыльям бабочки. Я сделал замечания, объяснил, что если тронуть крылья бабочки перестанет летать. Но они потом все равно взяли в руки крылья бабочки В итоге поломали крылья и сняли "пыльцу" своими пальцами, и еще удивлялись, почему она не летает. Но тут еще вина работников ботсада, т.к. не было наблюдающего за порядком. Но огромную бабочку очень жалко... И как с этим бороться? Да, люди виноваты, но и руководство ботсада тоже виновато. Где вывески предупреждающие как правильно вести себя? Почему на определенном участке не написано, что нельзя делать с этим растением? Почему при входе к бабочкам не написано, как себя вести? Сделали бы штраф за причиненный ущерб, было бы логично. Раньше охрана таких гоняла, меньше таких людей попадалось. А сейчас ее и не видно, а люди как в первый раз - дорвались. Хорошо, что это не основная масса людей, другие ведут себя прилично. На душе приятней.

Just downriver from the Motherland Monument, this sweeping botanical garden is managed by the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In all there are 13,000 varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers from far and wide. The gardens are lovely in almost any season, but if there’s a time you simply have to come it’s the end of spring. This is when the hundreds of lilac bushes on the “Lilac Alley” are in full bloom. Spring and early summer bring a riot of colour as the peonies, magnolia and roses are also in flower. Check out the greenhouse for exotic species and there are reptiles in the terrarium. Bring a picnic blanket and give yourself time to watch the Dnieper bending past the spires of the St.

One of the most interesting places to visit in Kyiv. In winter it doesn't look especially picturesque, but should definitely be visited in spring, summer and autumn. In spring the lilac blooms and the smell is amazing (I haven't been personally but my friends enjoyed it very much). The location gives you an amazing 360° views of Kyiv. Easily accessible with public transport. In winter the territory seems not well looked after, but you can visit the greenhouses with tropical flowers, orchids and cacti. You have to pay for the entry separately. There is also a beautiful monastery/church on the grounds.

Nice green place that is very close to the center of the city (ticket 100 uah). During specific time there are beautiful flowers 💐 and trees blooming as well as musical concerts organized 🎶. Flower orangery is one of places that worth visiting (also opened during winter time, entrance is from the inner yard and costs 50 uah). Different paths can bring to many hills and hidden places. However some places require renovation. From one of hills picturesque view is opened on the city 🏙 and the river Dnipro. It is also next to the orthodox monastery.

The M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden is located in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. The M. M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden is a botanical garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It is named after the Soviet botanist Mykola Hryshko who was born in Poltava.
