As the winter chill gives way to the gentle warmth of spring, there's no better time to immerse yourself in the serene beauty of Jubail Mangrove Walking Park in Abu Dhabi. Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, this natural oasis provides a calm retreat for those seeking a connection with nature. Accessible from Yas Island, the park offers an enchanting stroll through mangroves, with the evening sun painting a mesmerizing backdrop. The tranquility of the setting is a perfect invitation to unwind, making it an ideal destination for families. The modest entrance fee of 15 AED per person ensures an affordable and rewarding experience. The 2-kilometer stretch welcomes visitors with small seating areas, informative displays, and a watchtower offering panoramic views. Our Sunday afternoon visit in April provided a delightful experience, avoiding the harsh sun. Expect to spend 1 to 1.5 hours on the walk, excluding optional kayaking or boating activities. Wildlife enthusiasts will appreciate glimpses of marine birds, fish, and small black crabs. The park's cleanliness and limited crowds enhance the overall experience. For optimal enjoyment, plan your visit from 4:30 pm onwards to capture the stunning hues of the sunset. High tide unlocks the opportunity for kayaking, an additional adventure for those seeking more than a leisurely walk. Consider hiring a tour guide or forest ranger for an in-depth exploration at a reasonable cost of 25 AED. The park also caters to relaxation, offering food and coffee trucks along with bean bags on the green area. Jubail Mangrove Park is more than just a recreational spot; it stands as Abu Dhabi's first self-contained, educational nature and leisure destination. Booking in advance through the park's website is advisable, securing your entry for a mere 15 AED, which includes access to the captivating 2-kilometer boardwalk. Don't miss the opportunity to bask in the breathtaking beauty of the Jubail Mangrove Park Boardwalk, a testament to nature's splendor in the heart of Abu Dhabi.

The Jubail Mangrove Park is a mangrove sanctuary in Abu Dhabi. A great place to learn about the avian and marine species native to Abu Dhabi. A wonderful place to gain appreciation and understanding of the ecological function of the mangrove habitats that include protection of the Abu Dhabi coastline and biodiversity. A meandering boardwalk will take you through the mangroves and allows you to discover the beauty of the mangrove “forrest”. The boardwalk offers a very nice walking path to explore the mangrove enjoying the fresh air and pristine nature. Interesting are the mangrove roots. You can appreciate the sea and tidal regime of the seawater movement. Although apparently you can see gazelles it does not happen often. There are also many mangrove birds but we saw just a few birds. There is a small gift shop where you can also drink something. Definitely a very nice place, very well maintain and a great place to take pictures.

I went here today around 20:10. I didn’t realise it wasn’t free as online seems to suggest it is. It was dark when I got there and the security guard pulled me up saying I have to pay to do it. I asked how much and if there was anything to actually see this time of night. He said it’s still great and worth it. I paid and finished the route in 20mins. Waste of my time and money. I ask for a refund as there was literally nothing to see at night. No water, no views and couldn’t even get good photos. I looked from the view point and all you can see are light of the motorway. I ask for a refund. I didn’t mind paying if there was actually something to see. He said he can’t refund I’ve attached some photos. I doubt he would pay 20 to see what I saw. Very miss leading

The Jubail Mangrove Walking Park in Abu Dhabi is a hidden gem that is perfect for families with children. Located just a short drive from the city, this park offers a chance to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and explore the great outdoors.

We visited the park on a beautiful sunny day and were immediately struck by the peaceful and serene atmosphere. The park is surrounded by lush mangroves and offers a chance to get up close and personal with nature. We spent about two hours walking around the park, taking plenty of breaks along the way to rest and enjoy the scenery.

One of the things that we loved most about the Jubail Mangrove Walking Park is that it is one of the few green and natural areas in Abu Dhabi. With so much concrete and development in the city, it was refreshing to be able to explore a place that was full of trees, plants, and wildlife. We saw a few varieties of birds, including herons, and were able to take in the beauty of the mangroves.

There are plenty of places to take a break throughout the park, including benches and shaded areas. We appreciated this, as our children are still young and needed a few rest stops along the way. There is also a coffee shop at the main entrance of the park, which was a welcome sight for us adults who needed a pick-me-up.

In addition to walking around the park, there is also a place to go kayaking. We didn't have a chance to try this out on our visit, but it looks like a fun activity.

Overall, we found the Jubail Mangrove Walking Park to be educational and fun for the kids. They loved learning about the different plants and animals that call the mangroves home, and we loved the chance to spend some time in nature together as a family. If you're looking for a unique and enjoyable outing in Abu Dhabi, we highly recommend visiting the Jubail Mangrove Walking Park. It's a great way to spend a few hours exploring and enjoying the...
