Sandy Beach — Attraction in Al Aqah

I went at the new year with my parents, before sunset there were barely 4 or 5 tents, by midnight there were tons of tents but the crowd was nice weather was a bit cold but fire helped. There's a close by gas station to get wood. There are several super markets to get almost everything you might need. Bathroom wise: you have to go to the gas station (4 minutes driving) but sometimes the queue is very long especially in the morning, it took us about 40 minutes to get in. We got a day pass at this hotel which is a bit expensive but is definitively worth it. You can swim to the nearby Snoopy island or you can rent a kayak but my 9 years old kid did it swimming, it’s really close. The pool which is in front of the Indian Ocean is amazing ! Today we visited sandy beach. First we went to the restaurant “Amouage seafood”. The waiter and service was not so good.
