This was a fantastic experience! It packs a lot of fun, food and entertainment into one afternoon. The drive across the dunes was fun and the driver took it easy for us as requested.

The camp itself is great, very well set up to cater for the large number of guests with several easy to get to viewing areas to watch the Sun set and take photos before dinner.

There was a Camel ride and feeding the baby Camels on arrival. We got to have photos taken holding a Falcon which was really great and the handler esky knew how to get a great photo for us too.

The ladies had henna tattoos done which was included in the fee too.

We were offered drinks including traditional teas/coffee from kettles heated on hot coals and Arabic donuts made in the traditional way right there at the entrance. The bbq food was beyond incredible!!

The most delicious, authentic selections were available a la carte and there was more than plenty to go around with the hosts urging us to go for seconds.

The shish lamb grilled over hot coals on-site were particularly delicious and the Moroccan chicken was to die for!.

There was a great traditional sweets selection, again superb high quality traditional Arabic cuisine but we didn't indulge much because we were almost comatose by this point! Lol.

They had a great dance show under the stars for us with dancers whirling around using colourful lights and then the finale fireshow which blew us all away...superb!!.

After dinner there was a laid back area with shisha smoking where you could lay back in comfort under the stars and indulge.

All in all this trip is absolutely essential in every way, do not miss this experience!!.

Why not a 5 star rating then?

The drinks cooler boxes ice had long since melted even by the start and wasn't replenished, this was a real shame because it was hot and warm softdrinks it water was a bit of a let down, might seem trivial but drinking hot soft drinks and water really sucked after a hot, windy desert trip and cold drinks would've really made the experience better - enough said.

While the dance show was great we would've liked more traditional Arab music rather than the dance club loud thumping and rock, it seemed very much out of place, most people were there to experience traditional Arabic food, sights and sounds not loud nightclub thumping.

Still a wonderful experience not...

It's a hard review to write. I would say the tour experience is a good taster pack if you want to try a little of everything in Dubai but for people seeking more authentic desert experience it's a so-so.

I chose this due to my limited days in Dubai and because I read that they treated their camels rather well. I honestly felt bad sitting on the camel together with my partner. I felt like it was too heavy for the camel but at the same time it was not like I could get off and stop the ride. To be fair, they weren't mistreated in front of us, so that could just be my problem.

The camp itself was quite nice, you get to move around several booths and stores within it. Most things are free except for photos and souvenir. I did enjoy the arabic coffee, henna, sweets, and falafels (very very nice). The sunset, camel feeding, stargazing and swing were also some of my favourite activities during the tour.

Then comes the show, which imo was decent. I wasn't a big fan of it and there was only 1 dancer each time (low budget perhaps?) but the dancers did put in their effort to hype the audience. The buffet BBQ food has alot of variety but I didn't know that there will be no refill so I was left hungry as I only took a small portion since I did not want to waste food.

We also got into abit of hassle with some other tourists who said the particular dinner table belong to them only but our tourguide prior to that said we were also on the table number. My tourguide was nowhere to be seen so I grabbed a random uniform guy to ask. He sorted it for us, and it was a table that was shared between 2 groups - them and us. I felt quite offended when they left the table squeezing in with other friends in another table saying we can have the long table to ourselves then.

Tbf our tourguide was quite nice and friendly to us but I was also abit uncomfortable when he insisted I write a review on getaguide on the spot.. he grabbed my phone to drop a 5* review to himself.. and told me to fill in the description with his name. Sure, if it helps it I definitely would but I felt pressured to do it in this case. Oh well...

Like 1 reviewer said.. it was like a "Disneyland" experience. I couldn't agree more, even the show announcer has a "Disney-y"...

We recently went on a desert safari experience in Dubai and booked it very last minute through the Klook app—just a day prior. The booking process was seamless, with instant confirmation, which was a big relief.

We chose the evening safari package for around AED 269–270 per person. The pickup was prompt and comfortable—they picked us up directly from home in a clean and spacious vehicle. We shared the ride with four other people, and the journey was smooth.

First Stop: Our first stop included a break where they offered tea, coffee, and juices (not included in our package). Here, we were also offered an optional ATV bike ride. We opted in and paid AED 250 for two people (30 minutes total). We waited here for about an hour before heading to the actual safari experience.

Second Part – Dune Bashing & Sand Boarding: This was the main highlight of the package. The dune bashing was thrilling—riding across the golden sands was quite an adrenaline rush. Sandboarding was also included, though it wasn’t a huge highlight, it was still fun for pictures and the overall desert vibe.

A special shout-out to our guide, Mohammed Sakr, who made the experience truly memorable. He was incredibly supportive, engaging, and informative, and even clicked some amazing pictures for us throughout the tour.

Final Stop – Al-Khaimah Camp: The final part was at the Al-Khaimah desert camp, which looked stunning under the night lights. We were welcomed with rose water and served authentic Emirati snacks. The sunset view from the camp was breathtaking.

We learned there are 56 similar camps in the area, with the Atlantis Camp being the largest. Our camp featured a Tanoura show and an impressive fire show—both performances were quite entertaining. The food was decent, though I personally didn’t enjoy it much.

Unfortunately, there was no belly dance performance, which was supposed to be part of the package. I understand it was due to Ramadan, but I do feel there should be a partial refund or adjustment for that exclusion.

Overall Rating: 4/5 Despite a few minor drawbacks, the experience was enjoyable and memorable. I’d definitely recommend this safari, especially for first-timers or couples looking for a scenic and exciting evening...
