We have been here in the Morning Safari tour. And I will definitely advise this experience to all. Me, my husband and our 2.5 year old daughter were request for the excursion from the Desert Gate, and as a child is really small and the shared tour is not allowed in such case, we were advised to take a private tour, i.e. instead 6 people in a car there were only 3 of us and a driver, who guided us through all the tour. On the way to the camp we have met the camels, who are just walking around. The dune bashing was just amazing (and for the child as well). We all enjoyed the crazy ride up&down on dunes. Afterwards we were greeted with the refreshment drinks in the camp and had a small camel ride (~ 5 mins) nearby. I was also asked for a sand-boarding, and this was the most funny part. For those who think that it is like snow-boarding - Forget about it! ))) It is veeery slow motion from the dune, sometimes with stops. Read moreI've been to safari many times but, the experience with desert gate was totally different. We were picked up by Hatem our safari guide in a nice, cleaned car and drove us to the desert.
Hatem was extremely professional and knowledgeable person he explained to us everything about the history of Dubai and keep us engaged while driving towards the desert.
When we reached to the desert he make sure that all of us are okay and drive the car smooth in desert which we requested before. As I said earlier I have been to many camps but this camp was totally different, all safety precautions were placed such as social distancing, hand sanitizer on each and every table etc. All the crew was so accommodating and professional.
We were sitting in private area - thanks indeed for this. Food was so nice and everything was arranged well.
We thank you to Hatem for making our trip so special and we recommend to everyone to go up desert safari with desert...
Read moreDesert Gate Camp is like stepping into a fairytale straight from the pages of One Thousand and One Nights. I could easily spend a thousand nights here — every moment feels like magic.
The food was extraordinary, bursting with flavor and authenticity, while the drinks — from fragrant teas to exquisite wines — were top-notch. The evening show transported me to another world, where the Arabian night felt not only magical but eternal, with stars so close you could almost touch them.
The camels, the merchants dressed in robes worthy of Lawrence of Arabia, and the enchanting walk to dance with a sultan — it all felt like a living poem by Rumi, recited in the voice of a beautiful Emirati sheikh.
A stay at Desert Gate Camp is not just a visit — it’s an experience for the soul.
Thank you for...
