I’ve always considered Offroad Zone to be a top-tier garage in the UAE when it comes to off-road vehicle work—and their product quality is indeed excellent. However, my recent experience left me extremely frustrated.
A few months ago, I had a lift kit, shocks, and related components installed by them. Almost immediately, I began hearing unusual noises from the suspension. Due to the distance between my location and the shop, I wasn't able to return right away. When I finally made it back for a major service, I specifically raised my concerns about the suspension noise.
Despite the sound being quite noticeable, the team assured me that everything was fine and claimed they couldn’t hear anything unusual. I trusted their expertise and continued driving the vehicle. Fast forward to today, I’ve discovered that a crucial part—the track bar—was never upgraded to accommodate the new lift kit. This oversight caused the axle to shift off-center, resulting in the coils hitting the chassis. Not only is this a costly issue to fix, but it’s also a serious safety risk.
This kind of mistake is not something I expected from a garage with such a strong reputation. My intention in writing this review isn’t to discredit Offroad Zone, but rather to offer constructive feedback. I truly hope they take this seriously, as attention to detail and accountability are what maintain customer trust. I still believe in the quality they offer, and I hope they continue to uphold the standards that made them a trusted name in the...
Read moreFound off road zone as very un professional. After getting serviced for my Jeep every time I wanted to try off road zone because of the good name and reviews, but dis heartened with their approach. First the vehicle was supposed to be kept for just one day for the service but I had few noticeable issues which I wanted them to look. They kept the vehicle for 3 days and every day answer was looking to find the fault. Last day when I collected the vehicle found none of the issues were resolved and sur Pringle the vehicle was not even washed and cleaned from inside. After spending 3 grands, realized any petrov station could have done the oil change business for much cheaper. It’s just a name with no quality. Try to avoid them and look for better alternatives.
Update : 27 Jan 2019 Dear Off road team, thanks for following up on the case and not leaving this as one of the incident. Finally on persuasion of Mr Travis I did went back to Off Road zone. Met owner Mr Hakub who personally came to test drive the car and check the issues which were not attended last time. All jobs were completed promptly and I got back the car within 24 hours with all complaints sorted and car in shining condition. Thanks for adding Jeep perfume in car. The car was shining like brand new and superb cleaning done inside out. Really happy with the standard of work done and you earn back your customer. Thanks Mr Hakub and Mr Travis for making sure off-road zone makes their customer go smiling. Kudos for the job done and...
Read moreUpdated: I decided to upgrade my JK`s suspension and had been researching this for a long time before deciding on a Teraflex 2.5 inch lift with Falcon 2.1 mono-shocks. What I do like is that this set up is specifically designed for a 2 door and of course hand-built. I opted for the Nexus 2.1 steering stabilizer to go with this. Installation was done by none other than Off-Road zone. Unfortunately, I did not witness the packaging or unboxing but from what I am told and what I have read their packaging is top-notch and comes with step-by-step instructions. The first impression was that these are like nothing else out there, very well designed and engineered. So the very first thing I noticed was the new handling characteristics on the freeway... between the Nexus steering stabilizer and the Falcon shocks, my Jeep felt much more stable at freeway speeds. This is how a lifted Jeep should ride! One of the things I love about the Nexus stabilizer is how it works with the stock (or upgraded) tie rod, but now is relocated above the axle and behind the tie rod, out of harm’s way. Also, combining the axle end mount of the Nexus stabilizer with the track bar mount/bolt is genius as well. To wrap it all up, I think the Falcon shocks and Nexus steering stabilizer are nothing short of damn impressive. I doubt there is a better JK shock and stabilizer out there, bolt a set on your JK/JKU and you'll instantly see the difference in how your...
