Soho Beach, also known as Al Sufouh Beach or the Secret Beach, has been a beloved retreat for both residents and tourists in Dubai. Its secluded location, nestled between the iconic Burj Al Arab and the Palm Jumeirah, provides stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, making it a perfect escape within the bustling city. The beach is known for its shallow waters, which are ideal for families and those seeking a quiet place to swim or enjoy a leisurely walk. Often described as a hidden gem, it offers a sense of tranquility and connection with nature. Unfortunately, as of November 2023, the beach has been temporarily closed for maintenance. This unexpected closure has led to significant disappointment among the community, as many regular visitors find solace and peace at this beach. The local authorities have not provided a detailed timeline for when it will reopen, but the community remains hopeful that this cherished spot will soon be accessible again. Reflecting on the beauty and significance of Soho Beach, itโs clear that its allure lies not just in its picturesque setting but also in the personal connections and memories it holds for many. The hope is that once maintenance is complete, this piece of heaven in the heart of Dubai will once again welcome its visitors with open arms.

Secret Beach is a legendary hidden gem in Dubai's ever-changing lifestyle. It has been a destination for fun, reflection, and growing friendships for anyone who's lived in Dubai for most of their lives. Our school was footsteps away, our universities and work offices a mere few kilometers close by. We shared happy moments, sad moments, family-like moments and moments of inspiration there. As a photographer, I have taken what I consider the most significant work of my career there. It is attached here, and copyrighted. Unfortunately, like every area once precious to Dubaians who have called the city their home for decades, it was finally discovered and exploited for all its worth. Now considered "the second most eye-catching-beach in the world," Secret Beach has not only been ruined by the locust-like swarm of residents and tourists, but also closed off to the public in what could be the most significant testament to Dubai's superficiality...how everything has potential to be commercialized or drained of its natural signature, homey charm. I'm sure many people will agree with me when I say Secret Beach should have remained secret. Well-done, Dubai. Another one bites the dust.

Very nice and cozy beach. Clean sand and water. Not overcrowded. No infrastructure at all: no toilets, no dressing rooms, no showers. Practically no shadowed spots. To the right from the beach is the private residence. But anyway you have a good view on the Burj Al Arab. There are volleyball nets. A lot of people come here by car, prepared, with their own stuff. Looks like the beach is not so good for tourists, but better for locals. A lot of europeans here. And it is very beautiful here.

A great public beach without the entertainment or food selling kiosks. Bring your own food and drinks. Not crowded on weekends. Best is to drive there. There are no changing rooms and toilets though. Life guards are stationed there for safety. There are also alot of mobile homes parked there. At night it is great for a bbq and camping. Whatever it is you are doing there, please keep the place clean.

Very nice place. Specially to watch fireworks. If you can park your car outside this area at new year night you will get benefit after fireworks. Otherwise will take time come out with car. No washroom or lights.
