Sufouh Beach, also known as Jumeirah Beach or JBR Beach, is a popular public beach located along the coast of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. It is situated in the Sufouh area, which is part of the larger Jumeirah Beach Residence (JBR) neighborhood, known for its vibrant atmosphere, stunning waterfront views, and array of leisure and entertainment options.

Here are some key features and highlights of Sufouh Beach:

Golden Sands: Sufouh Beach boasts soft, golden sands stretching along the shoreline, providing a picturesque setting for beachgoers to relax, sunbathe, and enjoy the stunning views of the Arabian Gulf.

Beach Facilities: The beach is equipped with various facilities and amenities to enhance visitors' experience, including sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, changing rooms, and toilets. There are also lifeguards stationed along the beach to ensure the safety of swimmers.

Promenade and Walkway: Sufouh Beach features a scenic promenade and walkway that runs parallel to the shoreline, offering panoramic views of the sea and the iconic Dubai skyline. Visitors can stroll along the promenade, cycle, or enjoy a leisurely jog while taking in the sights and sounds of the beach.

Beautiful public beach with pristine blue waters and great view of Burj Al Arab.

We were dropped by Uber right at the beach front. There was a huge parking lot, filled with some cars but with plenty of parking spaces. We saw people getting here by taxi as well. The issue for us was to get back to the city (unfortunately I did not have internet connection to call Uber) as taxis dropping off people at the beach were not responding to us, therefore we had to walk to Al Sufouh tram stop roughly 1.4 km/20 minutes away and travel to Dubai Marina to get Metro connection.

The beach itself was very beautiful with soft white sand and calm blue waters. It was clean, no trash or rubbish to be seen in the sand or anywhere else. Views from here were very interesting as you could spot Burj Al Arab, Dubai Wheel and Dubai Marina skyline.

There were no facilities on the beach, no shops, no restrooms. Unfortunately, not even changing cabins can be located here, so we had to change into swimsuits while covering ourselves under towels. There was also no shade at all (no trees, palms or any shelters) so it was quite difficult to stay here during mid-day sun. If you plan to stay here all day you need to carry all essentials with you such as water, food and umbrellas for shade.

I was worried about the swim attire as this is a public beach, but there were plenty of women wearing bikinis and men wearing short trunks.

During our visit on Friday afternoon, the beach was moderately busy, however we found a place to relax with no issues.

I think I have met my unknown hero today at this beach 😍. My red suzuki got stuck in the sand as I am trying to be clever and took a short way out to drop my cousin on the main road and too late for me to realize that area is only for 4-wheel drive 🙈. Dont know what to do and came out of my car, saw my front wheel half buried under the sand and suddenly this gentleman on a blue t-shirt and driving a blue ford explorer stop and came out and instructed me to get in my car and press Reverse and turn my steering wheel left-right-left-right. I hesitantly followed his instruction, get in my car and then saw him in front of my car with both hands on my bumper giving me signal to hit the gas and reverse, quite a long pushing for him like more than 100 m, then after a while I was able to reverse on my own as I am approaching on a harder road surface. Saw him get in his car and following us until the end of that driving path then pointed me the left turn to go out to the main road. I just put my window down, said thank you and gave him a wave… 👋🏻.. I should have come down and express to him how thankful I am and maybe ask his name or something ☺️… but I felt shy and somehow overwhelmed with his very gentle approach 😊. To this guy on a blue shirt driving blue ford explorer 🚙 many thanks again 🙏🏻😇… its me the...

Great place for a beach out for calm evening walk with your partner. Silent waves, uncrowded, family beach to swim or just sit relaxing & watch the sun set behind the magnificent Palm Jumeirah. Also, catch a glimpse of the beautiful Burj AlArab from close shining in white & blue during the day or wearing clothes of the light shades after dark. You will also see helicopters landing on the nearby Royal villas on the beach and can hear Jet Skis roar in the Sea overtaking each other. Saw a volley ball net but not sure if it belonged to someone personal or its beach property. This is also an ideal place to witness the New Year Fireworks on the 31st December night. Unlike the JBR, this has free parking availabe near thr beach & not as crowded as the Walk / JBR. Having said that the JBR beach is a MUST see too.

Extremely clean and peaceful beach. Since it's not really accessible via public transport, there are less tourists here. Recommended only if you have a car. Don't go to the 1st parking lane (towards beach) if you don't have 4X4 as it's all sandy. There are lot of camper vans near the parking for overnight camping. Sea is crystal clear and gives amazing views of the giant wheel, Palm Jumeria, Burj Al Arab, Burj Khalifa (from Left to Right). Since it's not a popular tourist beach, please don't expect washroom, shower or changing facilities. Carry your own towel, chair, food, drinks, or anything you need. Update: Caravans are no longer allowed on this beach.
