I didn't even make it to the wetland reserve because Google's directions and its report of operating hours are off, and it is difficult to find the entrance (there's almost no signage in the area to direct you to this reserve). (I'm giving it 4-stars because that's the current average rating, which I do not want to affect.) If you follow Google's driving directions as of the date of this review (check whether Google has pinned the destination as the middle of the lake--if so, do not use the driving directions Google gives you), you'll eventually end up looking for a non-existent road alongside a non-existent body of water to get to the wrong (north) side of the lake in the wetland reserve. Instead, you need to take E30 westbound alongside the south side of the wetland reserve's lake and look for the signs for the entrance. If you instead take E30 eastbound, you'll see a sign that tells you to make a U-turn to get to the reserve, although how to do that is none too clear on this divided highway, but you'll need to look for an off ramp where you can cross to the other side of the highway and get back on...
Read moreReally wonderful place to visit. There are two roads, one of the long 3 km (my opinion more interesting than the short one), you can see flamingo and the other birds there. There are several wood houses, don't be afraid to enter and open the small window in the house that gives you a pretty cool view. Also, during the walk, you can find different types of plants, flowers, trees. On the other road (which is short 1.5km) you can find lizards, but unfortunately, I didn't see anyone. That is also a cool place to have a rest from the busy city, lovely quiet. Don't forget to wear a hat and take water with you. I asked personnel about timing. It's open from 8 am till 6 pm, last entry at 4 pm. At the end of March, it will be closed for the summer season and will be open in November. Hurry up! Thank you for reading and have...

At the entrace we were briefed by the environmentalists about the wildlife (birds) and the kind of flora and fauna we would see. Theres a pathway to follow to the entire reserve. Carry your cameras and jotters to note down what all you saw.
