Stumbled across this beautifully restored fort on a Saturday afternoon - it is supposed to be open until 8pm. When we came around 6 It was almost empty. We were greeted very friendly by the local staff. The lady at the cashier explained the general rules and the gentleman went with us into the fort. He took the time to show us around and even opened for us the exit which leads to the old city wall (behind the fort) and he went with us to the top of the guard tower. You can learn about the City's and the region's rich history through the relics on display and stories of trade and war. If you're in the area, this is a very nice addition to your itinerary.
