This was our first stop when we arrived in Al Ain and it was such a positive experience 🌿

The park is full of lush green grass lawns, palms, birdsong and is surrounded by the beautiful peeks of Jebel Hafeet.

There is ample free parking along the many small winding roads throughout the park, you can pick any shady spot under a palm and setup your picnic.

We went in April, the park opened at 4 pm and the entry was free. We didn’t find it too hot, in fact the weather was PERFECT - breezy and cool. Even after the sun went down, we stayed comfortably until 9 pm. I guess due to the time of year the park was almost empty, it felt like we had that paradise all to ourselves ❤️

Public toilets are available (average), they also have swimming baths (male / female) and natural hot springs which we didn’t encounter.

A highlight for us is how quiet it is, all you can hear are the birds.

There are food outlets there but I recommend packing your favourite picnic selections and head down with a blanket and a couple of chairs to watch the sunset.

Free public park with designated barbeque spots for family picnic. The lake around it has a long bank with walking & cycling area. If you want barbeque spot reach early or and if no spot for barbeque here then drive in the same area around 1.8 kms to hot water springs area and try luck there. There is no closing time here. Washroom are quite old but cleaned frequently, and are on opposite side of the park and one if deep inside the park would need to walk more. There is a children play area in the park and also in the hot water springs area. Parking should not be a hassle as saw people parking beside road around the park when parking was full. While driving from outside Al Ain keep in mind that there is no grace even of 1 kmph on speed limits. If speed limit board mentions 120 kmph then drive at or less than 120, even 1 km above and a fined will be issued.
