A beautiful park with magnificent specimen trees, which are now over 100 years old. The park was designed to show off the River Towy, but the river changed course and now runs on the opposite side of the valley. However, it has left one of the best oxbow lakes in the country. A great place for a stroll with family, friends, and the dog/s. Good to see plenty of benches too if you need to catch your breath. The main part of the park seems fairly accessible, particularly if you have an electric wheelchair or similar. The museum cafe is open until 5pm if you need a pick-me-up...
