A very impressive church with a tower reaching over 100ft high - third highest in Cornwall? The bench ends are quite something and it is well worth buying the pictorial guide (£4) which shows all 79 ancient ones and the single recent one. In my view only Mullion church can top it. Nice and light inside the church, helped by the many clear glass windows, although there is one small stained glass window high above the altar. Well worth visiting, not far from the A30, and the village has an excellent new toilet block.

Based in the historic village of Altarnun, the church I would consider to be the centrepiece of this, a very pretty church and lots of history to back this up! There are not too many parking spaces, so please take this into consideration when visiting like I did. Nearby there are public toilets, alongside a village shop and a cafe. I would recommend anyone to visit the church when passing by, or as a part of a walk like we did. Very welcoming, would recommend to anyone

Use the church hall for an event, very nice to get into and plenty of parking also easily accessible for wheelchair users or for people with crutches, the grass area outside is lovely, and to have the river going through

Stunning church. I've visited every CofE church in mainland Cornwall and this would be in my top five of must visits. It's a lovely church in a pretty location. The font is left from the original Norman building, the carved faces look at you.... The bench ends also are worth a study. Look out for the man in a kilt playing the...
