Telpyn is a beautiful, expansive beach perfect for long relaxing walks. Approximately 30-40 minutes from one edge to the other. When the tide is out the beach is huge with plenty of space to separate yourself. There's plenty of free parking.

We visited on a Friday @ 5pm mid March when the sun was just starting to set and were gifted with the beautiful view of the coast.

There weren't many people there during our visit. Just the odd few couples and dogs. There's a caravan park nearby so I expect it does pick up in the summer months.

The road we used to access the area was fine but single track in some places with poor visibility so do take care. One of our new favourite places just a stone thrown away...

Almost a secret location. Many will drive past here on the old coastal road between Pendine and Amroth and never know of it's existence. Though sometimes accessible from Amroth beach at low tide but check times. Room for 3 or 4 cars to park on a lay by near entrance to a field on way to beach. Reasonably easy walk with some steepness to the beach. You will walk through some woodland and have access to the coastal path before reaching Tepyn. Views to Amroth Saundersfoot Tenby and Caldey Island to the south west. And Cefn Sidan and Wormshead to the south east. Sea fishing an option. Sand and rocks at low tide. Only pebbles when...

This is a stony beach that progresses to sand near the water. It was a lovely beach with free parking. The two tone pebbles were great and we even found washed up two jelly fish. My only criticism is that it was hard to get down onto the beach as the stairs are steep and these generally lead to high walls, where we got in anyway. As I was with my elderly mother this was an issue, but we eventually got her down to the beach. We hoped to leave her behind but then found an easier place to get back up further along. Access and be difficult for the mobility impaired but not impossible (much to...
