Angle Bay is an absolute hidden gem that holds a special place in my heart. This stunning beach, tucked away in Angle, offers a sense of tranquility and natural beauty that is truly unmatched. The beach is a true paradise, with its pristine sands and crystal-clear waters inviting visitors to bask in its splendor.

One of the standout features of Angle Bay is its spacious carpark, providing ample room for visitors to park their vehicles with ease. This convenience adds to the overall appeal of the beach, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy its wonders.

Growing up, one of my favorite memories was exploring the rocky area on the right side of the beach. It was like my own personal playground, where I would leap into the sea with pure joy. The rugged rocks added an adventurous touch to the beach, making it an ideal spot for exploration and excitement.

What sets Angle Bay apart is its safe swim zone. The beach boasts a tranquil and gentle current, creating a secure environment for swimmers of all levels. Whether you're a seasoned swimmer or just starting out, the calm waters offer a worry-free experience, allowing you to fully enjoy the pleasures of the sea.

If you're seeking a hidden paradise with a carpark, a beautiful beach, and a safe swim zone, look no further than Angle Bay. Its serene atmosphere, picturesque surroundings, and personal significance make it a destination that should...

The bay is stunning and most of the time is not particularly busy..however the car park is quite large and free and the walks around the coastal.pstg spectacular..there is a brilliant geocache router round here too if you are so inclined. The beach is big and spacious and the sea fabulous for splashing about canoeing or just having fun..it is a sandy beach too. It's quite windy most of the time but is a fantastically relaxing place to be..there are campsites nearby too and this is the go to beach for them. There is a cafe and toilets by the beach too. Other end of the village is a wharf with bigger boats..other side of the headland is the ferry channel to Milford haven and Pembroke dock ferry port and you can watch the big ships come...

This beach is sheltered, so no waves. Also, it is very flat, so the ride recedes a very long way! However, there when the tide is in, it is very safe swimming. There is an interesting "lagoon" on the right hand side, and the more adventurous can jump off the gap where the lock gate used to be. The parking is right next to the sand, so excellent for disabled or limited mobility. The parking is also free (the National Trust have not managed to get their paws on it yet 😑) There are toilets and a cafe too. However the cafe is quite expensive. Best to stock up on the village shop on the way in. Overall a pleasant venue for those who aren't too active or just want to relax. Those who want waves should head to Freshwater...

I almost don’t want to rate this place. I’d like it to myself. It’s a perfect beach. It’s a sheltered bay for a start. Sandy beach , rock pools. Rocks to climb. Pools to explore. Water is great to swim, paddle board, launch a dingy. Etc. From early morning till late at night it’s beautiful. There are toilets there and the lovely Wavecrest Cafe/diner. A large car park which was free until 2021. Now charges for anything past a 30 min stay. See pic for charges as of 2021. Once you visit here you’ll be back and back again. There’s also some amazing walks on the Pembroke coast path.

Wonderful beach! Massive car park (although no mobile signal so struggled around for change) and great that it’s dog friendly. Seemed quiet even though was the best weather day of the week. We arrived at just after low tide so played on the beach sheltered from the wind behind some rocks for a bit and then had a swim once the sea was a bit closer. It was a nice calm sea to swim in. Lots of Little Rock pools to explore. Quite a lot of seaweed which our little one enjoyed but if you’re not a fan might struggle to go for a swim. Lovely cafe with toilets next to the car park.

West Angle beach, is a beautiful place to visit, it has a lovely cafe come restaurant by the beach where you can purchase buckets and spades for the kids. There are two coastal pat walks you can take one is approximately four and a half miles and the other seven miles. There is also a fort to explore with a lovely cafe to visit on the walk, times of opening are advertised. Me and my mother who is now in her 80s often do this walk, there is even a pub to have a well deserved pint in. What more could you ask. I recommend west angle beach, please try it 😁
