I attended imagine on friday morning with my 3 children aged 9, 3 and 2. I have been to imagine numerous times over the years it's safe to say I will not be attending in the future. Myself and my 2 daughters (2 and 3) were in the under 2.5 years section.. my girls were playing up and down the slide like normal girls of that age.. nothing boisterous, I heard a man that I soon realised works for or owns imagine.. approximately 50, smartly dressed sweeping the floors shouting at MY child to get out of the soft play, and pointing at her, I advised that she is my child and she is 3 and playing with her 2 year sister, I was sat in there watching my children I had not left them to their own device. He responded sarcastically that she is over 2 and half so she needs to "get out" or "sit down".. !! I spent £60 getting into and eating at imagine to be spoken to like that.. as well as shouting at my 3 year old. Firstly as said my children were supervised and doing nothing other than then norm. Secondly my 2 year old is too small for the big bit and I would not feel comfortable letting my 3 year old roaming the big bit unsupervised. Another mum in the facility advised me that she thought he was being ridiculous and reassured me that my girls were fine to be in there together.. I suggest to imagine that particular staff member needs to go on a customer service course and specifically needs to learn how to talk to children instead of shouting at them like he has the right to do so! Due to this I will not be spending my money there in future.. Also to add the toilets are filthy and never seem to have...
Read moreI have used imagine for many years and yesterday I experienced something that completely changed my opinion. I was sat in the under 2.5 age section with my daughter who was 1 and 3. I heard a guy shouting "YOU GET OUT" when I looked up it was the guy who's often smartly dressed who I believe to be the owner! I was horrified with the tone used to my 3 year old and when I said she's 3 sitting their clearly with a baby his response was so she's over 2.5 isn't she and smercked. Wow!!! I spent 50 quid coming to your centre yesterday and that's how you feel it's acceptable to talk to children. I appreciate you must quite often have children over 2.5 in that area, I strongly suggest you review how you monitor this section rather than shouting at the kids. I dont speak to my kids like that so why is it acceptable for you! All the mums looked horrified when he walked away and said to me blimey that wasn't needed. I have still felt unhappy about it today enough to write a review. It's safe to say I won't be returning to your centre and I suggest you take a look at your approach to how you talk to children!!! Also those mothers who have 2 young children who come on their own will on occssions not feel comfortable letting their 3 year old explore on their own so will need both of them in...
Read moreWe went to Imagine during the half term holidays and on arriving with I'm 5 minutes the fire alarm went off and we were told to leave over the system which was not clear. There did not seem to be anyone taking a count of people to ensure they were all out although we were guided to the door. Some went out the back door which was muddy and no kids had shoes. We went out the front. The alarm was still ringing and people started to go back in I checked with a member of staff it was okay to go back in as kids were standing in their socks in the car park. No one said anything to us at all before this or approached to see how we were. I know a few people complained due to there socks being ruined. My complaint/concern is that it was not organised in the case of a real fire how did they check that all people and kids were out of the building. They only take a surname and 2 adults and kids on arrival. They did not ask when we went back in or on leaving with the fire alarm. I think the fire procedure needs to be looked at.
Other than that the kids have always loved imagine and we have been going for years with no issues. We have been to many great parties here too which are...
