Grey Point Fort — Attraction in Ballygrot

It's a great shame, this is down as the best preserved, but I'm afraid it's now being let go. It was closed when we got there and was staying in the area so called back the next day. If you like forts, the colour grey and pointing at things, this might just be your idea of heaven. The fort itself is a bit underwhelming. Like a lot of Northern Ireland, the phrase, it's good but could be better applies. However, if you stumble across the fort as part of a walk along the shore, it's a different matter. The views up and down and across Belfast Lough are stunning....
