Lovely short walk on the raised banks of the River Dearne towards Bolton on Dearne Despite the raised bank still very wet and muddy underfoot. The river itself very high. An abundance of geese on the washland. Really nice wander with plenty of friendly Yorkshire folk about. Car park busy but still space

Brilliant nature reserve, great variety of birds with the possibility of rarities. When I went, there were Black winged stilts and a Black Crowned Night Heron. Worth the 15 minute walk from the car park.

Lovely walk for myself and the dog.. several different routes to take from the car park, could spend all day following the different routes.

I was working here, so I didn't get to walk round the all of it.. but it's a beautiful place, great for walking the dogs ...

Plenty of lovely trails to walk, wetlands have lovely 🐦 around, sometimes busy, carpark free, although not huge 👌

Nice relaxing walk with the Doggo. Could maybe do with some more signage along the path. Nice day out though.
