Located at Mary Peters, this mountain bike trail is short but great for homing mountain bike skills and fitness. Perfect for basic drop-offs, improving breaking techniques and riding positions as the trail terrain changes very quickly. Local mountain bikers are friendly and range from beginners to advanced. I particularly like riding this trail in winter. One issue I have with this trail is many local walkers seem to think its ok to walk there dog on this trail. This can present problems and can be dangerous when riding at speed.

Great that this is available to the public, free of charge. Lots of options for people of various skill levels. Everytime I go down the same group of guys are about, enjoying themselves, helping maintain the runs and offering advice and critique when asked of them.

Many teenagers here on bikes trying out the jumps.. important to bring and wear a helmet at the least, you can also stand and watch looks quite scary !

I personally love this place. I would normally give 5 stars for somewhere I thoroughly enjoy but the lack of professional maintenance is bizarre considering the risk that goes along with mtb.

All the trails are mellow. You have three main lines after traversing the beginning of the trail system. Two red and a blue. In honesty, the trails would all be considered blue or less due to the flow vibe they have but the features are far from technical.

No 'Downhill' sections as this is a communal area but I believe there would be potential should they decide to upgrade the area. There are a few unofficial lines but I wouldn't recommend them as they are built by kids with shovels and have no science behind them what-so-ever.

Overall, great place to get the cardio in but falls short of an...

Fantastic trails.

The later part of the blue heading towards Malone house is an amazing trail. Great for beginners and the more experiened can pick up speed if you know how to pump the rollers (or Jump them). Super flowy, virtually downhill all the way down to the bottom of Malone house. Trail builders really got that one right!

Serpentine and Fanplastic are great also. One or two turns feel a bit strange with the flow. but keep in mind the trails have been designed to be respectful of the land and eco-friendly to a sensitive area. Which I really like.

Dirt Jumps are good fun but make sure you stick a Helmet on and stick to the beginner lines first. The more advanced lines are unforgiving to...

Great, accessible trails for practising skills and always good for a few laps round it. The trails are quite short, but are well designed and the terrain varies considerably, so there's a bit of everything, especially on the red sections.

Some of the signs have gone missing or are damaged so can be slightly hit and miss in terms of navigating the trails for anyone unfamiliar with the area.

I have encountered dog walkers on the blue/red trails before - no idea why they're on them as signs do designate them for bike use only, but always worth keeping an eye out to avoid any nasty collisions!

Haven't used the jumps park so can't comment on it.

Overall, definitely...
