Walking east from Mumbles point, the coast path takes you through some developed beaches on a decent path, but as you climb out of the far end of Caswell, it becomes more rugged, and in the winter very muddy.
A little way around the cliff, and Brandy Cove finally reveals itself at the last turn of the path, being enclosed by short steep cliffs. It’s a miniature, stony inlet, with a name that suggests some ancient secret contraband activity.

There was a woman called Old Moll she lived in one of the caves the locals believed her to be a witch as bad things happened to villagers and farm animals when she passed through .
