This vast stretch of flat sandy beach between St Annes and Blackpool is a great place for walking and sandcastles! The tidal range here is so great that, at very low tide, you've a long way to walk to get to the water's edge! The beach is backed by sand dunes, which in many places are planted with old donated Christmas trees to help preserve them. There are litter bins at regular intervals along the edge of the dunes.
