This vast stretch of flat sandy beach between St Annes and Blackpool is a great place for walking and sandcastles! The tidal range here is so great that, at very low tide, you've a long way to walk to get to the water's edge! The beach is backed by sand dunes, which in many places are planted with old donated Christmas trees to help preserve them. There are litter bins at regular intervals along the edge of the dunes. These sands are popular with dog walkers, who can bring dogs here all year round. A good place to watch the kite surfers and spot light aircraft taking off and landing at the nearby airport. There's a very good licenced beach café that serves sandwiches and hot food, and a pay and display car park with toilets close by.

St Annes North Beach ⛱ Could well be called Paradise Beach with its Golden Sands and Refreshing Sea Breeze and Crystal Clear Sea Water, ideal to paddle feet. So quiet and peaceful, located about a mile from St Annes 🤔 👌 which is a very Enjoyable walk on the Sands. There are many Sand Dunes but these are being preserved for the Wildlife.

This is a lovely beach that feels well isolated from the hustle and bustle or Blackpool that is just to the north of it. I hope to come back again someday.

This is a large, sandy beach with a quiet atmosphere. However, the sea was quite a walk from the main beach area. Also, facilities within easy reach appeared to be limited. Overall, a good spot for quiet relaxation, although the distance to the water and the availability of amenities are the two drawbacks, especially for...
